Feliz Cumpleanios Jiva Goswani Das acompaniado por su querida madre!

Sri Narasimha Bhagavan Key Jay!

All realms, up to the realm of Brahma, are subject to rebirth;
but those who attain me, Arjuna, will never be reborn again
If you know that one single day or one single night of Brahma
lasts more than four billion years, you understand day and night

When day come all things emerge from the depths of unmanifest nature; when night comes all things dissolve into the unmanifest again

These multitutes of beings in an endless, beginningless cycle, helplessly  dissolve when brahma night comes and emerge once more at his dawn.

But beyond the unmanifest nature is another unmanifest state, a primal existence that is not destroyed when all things dissolve.

This is the eternal unmanifest and is called the ultimate goal;
men who reach this my supreme dweling, are never reborn,

This Supreme Person Arjuna.
who contains all beings and extends to the limits of all that is, can be reached by wholehearted devotion

Now, Arjuna, I will tell you
the times at which men of yoga must be reborn, or  die never to return.

Fire, light, day, the moons brightness, the six  months of the north-turning sun;
dying then, men who are free go to absolute freedom.

Smoke, gloom, night, the moon's darkness,
the six months of the south turning sun; dying then, men of yoga reach the moon's light and return.

These paths of light and of darkness, have always existed; by one a man will scape from rebirth;
by the other, he is born again

Knowing these two paths, Arjuna, the man of yoga, at all times
resolute in his non attachments, goes far beyond the merit

Incase you forgot what happened on April 21st, ,2021.

and of course this happened too.

another thing that happned.

"Do not give up devotional service even if there are innumerable dangers, countless insults and endless harassment. Do not become disheartened that most people in this world do not accept the message of unalloyed devotional service. Never give up your devotional service and hearing and chanting about Krishna which is your everything. Always chant the Holy Name becoming more humble than a blade of grass and more tolerant than a tree."

 Devotional service is the soul’s eternal constitutional propensity, the living entity’s natural characteristic. The soul has no other constitutional duty than to offer service to the Lord.

 Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura Prabhupada.

Dear Respected Devotees, Hare Krsna. Pamho. AGTSP! I have often asked by those who rely on dull sense perception “where are all the devotees from the millions of books distributed?”  Here is Srila Prabhupada explaining the results of transcendental book distribution and the guaranty of taking a human birth in their next life to resume devotional service where they left off.  “Amogha: Śrīla Prabhupāda? When people in the street hear Kṛṣṇa's name, the chanting, or they get some literature, does that mean they will not take birth as an animal?  Prabhupāda: No. They'll get birth in a good family. Śucīnāṁ śrīmatāṁ gehe (BG 6.41). If they simply appreciate "It is very nice," then in the next life, human life is guaranteed. In a very nice family. Simply if he appreciates, "Yes, it is very nice"—that's all. Then he'll get another chance.  Amogha: Many people think the pictures are very nice.  Prabhupāda: Anything they say nice, that means it is guaranteed, next life. Or even in this life it will definitely help. As soon as he reads some pages, then it is guaranteed. Those who are enquiring, that means they are liking. Their life is guaranteed.  Amogha: One man who joined us about Rathayātrā time last year was a solicitor. He used to buy our books but he never read them. But he would keep them on his bookshelf. And he used to always think, "Those are such beautiful books." He used to think like that.  Prabhupāda: This is appreciation.  Amogha: He never got time to read it.  Prabhupāda: It doesn't matter. If he keeps the books with appreciation, that makes his life sure, insured. He immediately becomes in touch with God. Who keeps the book with reverence and love, immediately he becomes in touch with God. Because these books are representative of God.  Amogha: When we go to a school, I first ask, "How many students have seen us chanting in the steets?" Immediately they all raise their hands.  Prabhupāda: It is a very nice service you are doing. Kṛṣṇa will be satisfied, hari-toṣaṇa. As soon as Kṛṣṇa is satisfied, your preaching is perfect.”  Srila Prabhupada Morning Walk -- May 9, 1975, Perth  Mass public SKP Book Distribution Ki Jaya”

"You write that you have desire to avail of my association again, but why do you forget that you are always in association with me? When you are helping my missionary activities I am always thinking of you and you are always thinking of me. That is real association. Just like I always think of my Guru Maharaja every moment, although He is not physically present, and because I am trying to serve Him to my best capacity, I am sure He is helping me by His spiritual blessings. So there
are two kinds of association: physical and preceptorial. Physical association is not so important as preceptorial association."

 Su Divina Gracia Srila Bhakti Vimala Harijan Goswami Maharaja

Srila Jiva Goswami

His-Divine-Grace-Srila-Bhakti-Bhimala-Harijan-Swami With HisDivine Grace swami BA Paramadvaiti Maharaj Gurudeva

 We remember the Vaishnava saint, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Bhimala Harijan Swami with deep humility. Harijan Swami is the first spiritual master in Colombia, and a surrendered devotee of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, the first spiritual master to deliver the millennial Vedic philosophy to the western world.

Srila Harijan Swami was born in Pacho, Cundinamarca, Colombia in 1945. After taking initiation from the renowned Srila Prabhupada, he was granted the sacred order of renunciation, sannyas by Srila Bhakti Raksaka Sridhara Swami in 1985. Through his complete surrender to his spiritual masters, he gave himself fully to the expansion of Krishna Consciousness and the development of the Vrinda Mission all over Colombia. Srila Harijan Swami leads all the vaishnavas with his example of an inspiring sankirtan devotee (preacher), and of his constant will to help others in their spiritual advancement. Srila Harijan Swami’s dream was to open 108 temples in different parts of the country. Therefore, he dedicated himself completely to opening and leading all the preaching programs in Colombia throughout the majority of his life, even when his health was in very precarious states.

Srila Harijan Swami departed from the plane of our sensory perception on May 16th, 1990 to return to his eternal position in the spiritual world. Despite the profound separation in the hearts of thousands of devotees around the world, Srila Harijan Swami accompanies us everyday through his exceptional teachings, and his superior example of surrender, humility, and excellence.

In the worlds of Srila Paramadvaiti Swami, founder acharya of the Vrinda Mission:

“Srila Harijan Maharaj is the jewel of devotion of all the devotees in Colombia and his burning wish is that everyone becomes a pure devotee of Lord Chaitanya. His sweet and sincere nature won the affection of his masters as well as his god brothers. I don’t know why Krishna called His beloved servant so early to his eternal kingdom, but I do have firm faith that Srila Harijan Maharaj’s wish is that we all continue in this battle, following his example until our last breath, as our Eternal Masters, Srila Prabhupada and Srila Sridhar Maharaj also did”.

This week like every week throughout the year, we offer our most humble obeisances to His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Bhimala Harijan Swami, a Vaishnava completely surrendered to the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna and his spiritual masters.

To listen to the glories of Srila Harijan Swami and to learn more about him, we recommend a beautiful book (Spanish) written by Srila Paramadvaiti Swami called The First Spiritual Master of Colombia available on

Ella pensó: "¡Oh, no!... ¡Él es mi hijo! No hay manifestación del Infinito en Él. Es mi hijo". Y lo abrazó.

Rhade! Rhade!

Remembering  greatness Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, the second woman and the first Jewish woman appointed to the court in U.S. history.

  • Died: Friday, September 18, 2020.
  • Details of death: Died at home in Washington, D.C., of complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer at the age of 87. A private interment service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.

Supreme Court tenure

Nominated to the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton in 1993, Ginsburg was noted for her liberal dissents and her longevity on the court. Among Ginsberg’s notable rulings were United States v. Virginia (1996), in which Ginsburg wrote the majority opinion stating that the Virginia Military Institute’s all-male admissions policy was unconstitutional; Bush v. Gore (2000,) in which she dissented from the court’s decision to end the presidential election recount; and Obergefell v. Hodges (2015), in which she made decisive arguments that led to the court’s granting of marriage rights to same-sex couples.

Fighting for women’s rights

One of the primary aims of Ginsburg’s career was advancing women’s rights. One of only nine women in a law school class of about 500, Ginsburg had to fight for respect and status as a young woman lawyer. She went on to co-found the first U.S. law journal to focus on women’s rights, as well as co-founding the Women’s Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union. Prior to her appointment as judge, she argued several cases that advanced women’s rights, including Reed v. Reed (1971), which extended the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause to apply to woman as well as men.

U.S. Court of Appeals

Before her appointment to the Supreme Court, Ginsburg served as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals, to which she was nominated by President Jimmy Carter in 1980. While serving there, she gained a reputation as a moderate judge, which held true through the time of her confirmation to the Supreme Court 13 years later. It was only in later years that she became known as a staunch member of the court’s liberal wing.

Cancer fights

Ginsburg fought cancer several times after her appointment to the Supreme Court. The first was in 1999, when she underwent surgery for colon cancer, followed by chemotherapy and radiation, without missing a single day on the bench. This was followed by pancreatic cancer in 2009 and lung cancer in 2018. Ginsburg briefly missed oral arguments in in 2019 for the first time while recovering from her left-lung lobectomy, though she remained determined not to step down from the bench while she still had the mental faculties to serve. In July 2020, Ginsburg announced she was undergoing chemotherapy for a recurrence of cancer.

The Notorious R.B.G.

Ginsburg became a towering figure of the political left in later years, elevated to pop culture stardom and referred to as “The Notorious R.B.G.,” a moniker lifted from rapper The Notorious B.I.G. She was beloved for her fiery devotion to human rights, the subject of documentary “RBG” and feature film “On the Basis of Sex.” Devotees also loved Ginsburg for her signature style of a wide variety of decorative collars worn with her judicial robes. She collected collars from around the world and had a favorite to wear when issuing a majority opinion and another for a dissent, which made her views crystal clear before she ever uttered a word.

Ginsburg on gender equality

“[W]hen I’m sometimes asked when there will be enough [women on the Supreme Court] and I say ‘When there are nine,’ people are shocked. But there’d been nine men, and nobody’s ever raised a question about that.” —from a speech at the 10th Circuit Bench & Bar Conference in 2012

Tributes to Justice Ginsburg

“Our Nation has lost a jurist of historic stature. We at the Supreme Court have lost a cherished colleague. Today we mourn, but with confidence that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we knew her — a tireless and resolute champion of justice.” —Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts, in a statement

This is a breaking news story. Check back for updates.

Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.9 - Prahlada Pacifies Lord Nrsimhadeva with Prayers

Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.7 - What Prahlada Learned in the Womb

 "in this temple as in the hearts of the people for whom he saved the union the memory of Abraham Lincoln is enshrined forever Lord Narasimha!

Universidad de la Sabiduria Ancestral

The goal of human life is to re-awaken our original pure love for God, Krishna. We souls exist to have an intimate loving relationship with Him. We can never be happy by rejecting that relationship and denying our true nature.  The things we do in this world indicate our true, eternal nature. We have to love; it’s unavoidable. Having turned away from Krishna, we try to fulfill our need to love and be loved by searching for ideal relationships in this world. But exchanges of love here are never perfect and cannot last forever.  Awakening pure love for Krishna is perfection. Nothing else will satisfy us. Everything that exists in the material and spiritual worlds is meant to support our relationship with Krishna. Human life is a chance for us to reestablish that relationship. That endeavor should be the focus of our lives.  Because love includes service, pure love for God is called pure devotional service, or Bhakti. The ways to awaken Bhakti are the substance of the practice of Bhakti yoga.

Christ comes from the Greek word Christos, and Christos is the Greek version of the word Krsta
When an Indian person calls on Krishna, he often says “Krsta.” Krsta is a Sanskrit word meaning “the object of attraction.”
 So when we address God as “Christ,” “Krsta,” or “Krishna,” we indicate the same all-attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead.
When Jesus said, “Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,” that name of God was Krsta or Krishna
“Christ” is simply another way of saying “Krsta,” and “Krsta” is another way of pronouncing Krishna.

something about Krsna

Krishna appears as other forms of God—avatars—to create and maintain the universe, while He simultaneously enjoys loving relationships with His countless associates in the spiritual world. He visits this material world from time to time to free His devotees from material existence and to vanquish the wicked. He performs superhuman pastimes—lifting mountains, swallowing forest fires, and killing numerous extraordinarily powerful demons—as easily as a child playing with toys.

What are Lord Krsna's  24 most Popular Avatars?

Adi Purush

The primary and first Avatar of Vishnu is that of the Adi Purush. He is lying on the body of a serpent and depicts the source of all creation on earth. One can see in the image of the Adi Purush that a lotus sprouts from God’s navel, and Brahma resides here. Vishnu is all-powerful.

 Four Kumars

 Brahma, God of Creation, created the first four conscious beings – the Four Kumars, naming them Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana and Sanat Kumara. Although they were infants, it was they who helped Brahma in his creation of life.

Narada was one of the incarnations of Vishnu. He appeared in the form of a sage, and with a Tambura (string instrument) and Kartal (percussion instrument) in his hands, he could travel between different worlds in moments. Narada was considered the messenger of the Gods and was a storyteller and musician. He was considered the first journalist as he could broadcast news from one God or Devta to another effortlessly. Nara Narayana Vishnu, the Supreme Being, took on the avatar of two twin sages –

 Nara and Narayana.

The twin sages were born to establish justice, righteousness, and rectify wrongdoings. They founded Dharma on earth. Such was the might of Nara and Narayana that through meditation, they could destroy the destructive weapon used by Shiva – the Pashupathastra.

 Kapila was a revered sage of Vedic times and found mention in the Mahabharata. He founded the Samkhya (formula) School of Philosophy. Samkhya was the formula for gaining knowledge concerning perception, inference, and proof of the sources.

A sage with mastery over Yoga, Dattatraya was also a Triimurti and a saint depicted with three heads with six hands. Each of them represented Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. He was a combination of the three principal deities of the Hindu Dharma.

Vishnu is a representation of Yajna, the sacrificial fire, and is called Yajneshwra. People light a sacrificial fire and offer sacrifices to have their wishes fulfilled by the Gods. In some ancient Vedic texts, Indra, King of the Gods, is called Yajna.

One of Vishnu’s incarnations was that of a spiritual leader and a preacher. He was Rishabha, the founder of Jainism. He guided people on the path to salvation, having escaped the cycle of birth and death himself.

 Vishnu took the avatar of Prithu, the first sacred King on earth. He was responsible for creating all the greenery and the cultivation of crops. It was Prithu who initiated farming and agriculture on the face of the entire earth. This sacred King dedicated his life to the service of God and taught people the religious ways.

Vishnu incarnated as the God of Ayurveda. He emerged from the ocean, after the rigorous churning of the sea called Amrit Manthan by the Devas and Asuras. He is the God who appeared with the pot of Amrit (nectar of immortality). People worship him for attaining good health.

The one avatar Vishnu took in the form of a woman was that of Mohini. The Asuras(demons) had forcefully taken the pot of Amrit (nectar) from the Devas. The latter were helpless and pleaded with God to come to their rescue. Vishnu turned into a beautiful damsel,
Mohini. She played a trick on the Asuras (demons) to hand over the pot of Amrit to her. She then distributed the nectar to all the Gods. As Mohini, Vishnu also cut off the head of Rahu with his Sudarshan Chakra.

Vishnu, in this incarnation, took on the form of an animal and human. He was Hayagreeva, known for his knowledge and wisdom. He appeared with the head of a horse and had the body of a man. He restored understanding when he retrieved the Vedas, which were stolen by the demons – Madhu and Kaitabha. He restored light and wisdom. Vyasa Vyasa was an immortal sage who was responsible for the composition and compilation of several Vedas. Called Ved Vyasa, he wrote the Mahabharata and appeared as a character in it himself- as the father of Pandu and Dhritarashtra.

Matsya Avatar

 The Matsya Purana states that Vishnu appears in the form of Matsya, a half-man, and half-fish. When the great floods occur, Matsya informs Manu, the leader of human beings, and aids him in saving mortals in this natural calamity. He helps Manu save the Vedas, as well as the seeds of all plants on earth.

 Kurma Avatar

Vishnu took on the form of a half-human, half-tortoise. When the Devas and Asuras churned the ocean, Vishnu took on the incarnation so that he could steady the mountain, Mount Mandara, on his shell, aiding the celestial beings and demons to churn the ocean. Vishnu took on the weight of the universe on his back during this occurrence.

 Varaha Avatar

Vishnu took the form of a half-man, half-boar with tusks. He slays the demon Hiranyaksha when he rolls Bhoodevi, who represents the earth, into the depths of the ocean. He rescues Bhoodevi from sinking and brings her back to the surface with his tusks.

Vishnu attained this fearful and fierce incarnation and ended the reign of the evil demon king Hiranyakashipu, who believed no one could be greater than him. He scorned the idea of God, the Supreme Being, and challenged his son Prahlad about His existence. Prahlad, a devout worshipper of Vishnu, said God was omnipresent, at which an enraged Hiranyakashipu kicked the pillar near him. Vishnu emerged in the form of Narasimha and proceeded to kill Hiranyakashipu violently. Vishnu destroyed the demon king to establish peace, justice, and other types of Dharma on earth

Vishnu took on the Vamana avatar in the form of a dwarf Brahmin. He took this incarnation to quell the growing power of the demon king Mahabali. King Mahabali offered Vamana, the dwarf boy, anything he desired. Vamana responded, saying that all he needed was a piece of land that measured three paces. Vamana then increased his form and took two giant steps, scaling the entire universe. The King kept his word and offered his head. Vamana placed his foot on Mahabali’s head, and with that action, Vishnu sent Mahabali to the netherworld.

Parashurama was a fierce Brahmin Kshatriya, wielding an ax. It was a double-edged avatar, as Parashurama was a sage using the shaft so that he could put an end to the tyranny of evil Kshatriyas. The Kshatriyas had become evil and were misusing their power to make people suffer in misery.

Rama is a significant character in the epic Ramayana and a principal Hindu deity. Born into a Kshatriya family as the eldest son of King Dasharatha, he finally puts an end to the evil demon king of Lanka, Ravana. He then rescues his wife Sita, who was kidnapped by Ravana. Rama is considered the perfect example of a man. However, he goes through excruciating circumstances, but he upholds his duty to be a fair and just ruler of the people of his kingdom, Ayodhya., in the process, losing Sita.

The elder brother of Krishna, Balarama, is a significant avatar of Vishnu. In the epic Mahabharata, he appears as the elder brother of Krishna. Balarama was the Guru (teacher) for both Bhima of the Pandavas and Duryodhana, eldest of the Kauravas, in wielding the weapon Gadha(mace). He also shares many adventures with Krishna in bringing the evil King Kansa to justice.

A major incarnation of Vishnu is Krishna, who plays a pivotal role in the epic, Mahabharata, where he plays the advisor to the Pandavas and acts as a charioteer for Arjuna in the Kurukshetra war. He also ends the reign of his evil maternal uncle, Kansa. Krishna’s childhood has been distinctly etched in the Puranas too.

 God was born as Siddhartha, a prince in a royal family. He gained wisdom under the Bodhi tree and was called Gautama Buddha. Siddhartha taught the ways of Buddhism to people from all walks of life. Buddhism ends human suffering by embracing the Noble Eightfold Path.

 People are anticipating the Kalki avatar, and Vishnu has not yet been born in this incarnation. Vishnu is depicted on a white horse and holding a shining sword in his hand. Vishnu takes on this incarnation to defeat all evil combined in the demon Kali and initiate the start of a new Yuga, called Kalkiyuga or Satya yuga. Vishnu reincarnates time and again to put an end to everything evil and re-establish Dharma. He is the Supreme Protector and Preserver of the universe.

YAMA:  Satya

The word ‘sat’ literally translates as ‘true essence’ or ‘true nature’. It also means something that is pure and unchangeable. ‘Sat’ also means ‘that which exists’, ‘that which has no distortion’, ‘that which is beyond time, space and person’, and it also means ‘fact’ or ‘reality’. Being truthful isn’t just as simple as about being truthful in words. Satya is total commitment to truth— in being, in words, in actions, in intentions. The practice of this second yama of Satya requires deep understanding, a lot of awareness, and a delicate balance of honesty.

At the highest level, satya is to be with what is right now, to be connected with something that is not changing—your true nature. We have a tendency to identify or label ourselves with things that are unreal— our thoughts, feelings, moods, actions, experiences, judgements, opinions—all temporary and constantly changing modalities. Moving beyond this tendency and knowing that something deep in you is not changing-—something that is real— is the practice of satya. Satya is having constant awareness of this highest reality or truth.

To be with what is, to be truthful in one's life, to one's heart, one's presence, one's mind, this is following satya. The clarity and purity in your intention, straight forwardness in your approach, is satya. Your intention, is it truthful? Is your intention straight forward, is your intention clear? Or is there something else behind that? Is there some other hook you are keeping there?' That indicates the truth. Truth is not just what we speak, but what we are, our state of being - integrity in our words, deeds and most importantly in our intentions. It is about being genuine and authentic. When we have such integrity, we become the embodiment of Satya. Our being reflects it, we become Satya.

Question of the day:

what is Kapu?

just to be clear

THE FIRST AGREEMENT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE and also the most difficult one to honor. It is so important that with just this first agreement you will be able to transcend to the level of existence I call heaven down earth. The first agreement is to be impeccable with your word. It sounds very simple, but it is very, very powerful. Why your word? Your word is the power that you have to create. Your word is the gift that comes directly from God. The Gospel of John in the Bible, speaking of the creation of the universe, says, "In the beginning there was the word, and the word was with God, and the word is God." Through the word you express your creative power. It is through the word that you manifest everything. Regardless of what language you speak, your intent manifests through the word. What you dream, what you feel, and what you really are, will all be manifested through the word. The word is not just a sound or a written symbol. The word is a force; it is the power you have to express and communicate, to think, and thereby to create the events in your life. You can speak. What other animal on the planet can speak? The word is the most powerful tool you have as a human; it is the tool of magic. But like a sword with two edges, your word can create the most beautiful dream, or your word can destroy everything around you. One edge is the misuse of the word, which creates a living hell. The other edge is the impeccability of the word, which will only create beauty, love, and heaven on earth. Depending upon how it is used, the word can set you free, or it can enslave you even more than you know. All the magic you possess is based on your word. Your word is pure magic, and misuse of your word is black magic. The word is so powerful that one word can change a life or destroy the lives of millions of people. Some years ago one man in Germany, by the use of the word, manipulated a whole country of the most intelligent people. He led them into a world war with just the power of his word. He convinced others to commit the most atrocious acts of  violence. He activated people's fear with the word, and like a big explosion, there was killing and war all around the world. All over the world humans destroyed other humans because they were afraid of each other. Hitler's word, based on fear-generated beliefs and agreements, will be remembered for centuries.

The human mind is like a fertile ground where seeds are continually being planted. The seeds are opinions, ideas, and concepts. You plant a seed, a thought, and it grows. The word is like a seed, and the human mind is so fertile! The only problem is that too often it is fertile for the seeds of fear. Every human mind is fertile, but only for those kinds of seeds it is prepared for. What is important is to see which kind of seeds our mind is fertile for, and to prepare it to receive the seeds of love. Take the example of Hitler: He sent out all those seeds of fear, and they grew very strong and beautifully achieved massive destruction.

Seeing the awesome power of the word, we must understand what power comes out of our mouths. One fear or doubt planted in our mind can create an endless drama of events. One word is like a spell, and humans use the word like black magicians, thoughtlessly putting spells on each other. Every human is a magician, and we can either put a spell on someone with our word or we can release someone from a spell. We cast spells all the time with our opinions. An example: I see a friend and give him an opinion that just popped into my mind. I say, "Hmmm! I see that kind of color in your face in people who are going to get cancer." If he listens to the word, and if he agrees, he will have cancer in less than one year. That is the power of the word. During our domestication, our parents and siblings gave their opinions about us without even thinking. We believed these opinions and we lived in fear over these opinions, like not being good at swimming, or sports, or writing. Someone gives an opinion and says, "Look, this girl is ugly!" The girl listens, believes she is ugly, and grows up with the idea that she is ugly. It doesn't matter how beautiful she is; as long as she has that agreement, she will believe that she is ugly. That is the spell she is under. By hooking our attention, the word can enter our mind and change a whole belief for better or for worse.

 Another example: You may believe you are stupid and you may have believed this for as long as produce a like reaction. If I love you, then you will love me. If I insult you, you will insult me. If I have gratitude for you, you will have gratitude for me. If I'm selfish with you, you will be selfish with me. If I use the word to put a spell on you, you are going to put a spell on me. Being impeccable with your word is the correct use of your energy; it means to use your energy in the direction of truth and love for yourself. If you make an agreement with yourself to be impeccable with your word, just with that intention, the truth will manifest through you and clean all the emotional poison that exists within you. But making this agreement is difficult because we have learned to do precisely the opposite. We have learned to lie as a habit of our communication with others and more importantly with ourselves. We are not impeccable with the word.

The power of the word is completely misused in hell. We use the word to curse, to blame, to find guilt, to destroy. Of course, we also use it in the right way, but not too often. Mostly we use the word to spread our personal poison — to express anger, jealousy, envy, and hate. The word is pure magic — the most powerful gift we have as humans — and we use it against ourselves. We plan revenge. We create chaos with the word. We use the word to create hate between different races, between different people, between families, between nations. We misuse the word so often, and this misuse is how we create and perpetuate the dream of hell. Misuse of the word is how we pull each other down and keep each other in a state of fear and doubt. Because the word is the magic that humans possess and misuse of the word is black magic, we are using black magic all the time without knowing that our word is magic at all.

What is this?

Kundalini Awakening

The concept of Kundalini comes from Hinduism and is traditionally used to describe a progression of psycho-spiritual potentials, associated with the understanding of the body as a vehicle for spiritual energies. Kundalini syndrome is a term employed by Western researchers, and commentators, to refer to the condition which occurs when experiences traditionally associated with kundalini awakening arise, often unsought, which overwhelm or cause distress to the experiencer. Commentators [13] do, however, note that the physio-kundalini syndrome is connected with the kundalini awakening of Hinduism "only by theory and circumstantial evidence", arguing that a true measure of this phenomenology, interpreted as a state of higher consciousness, is beyond the ability of psychology, and/or psychiatry, to measure.

Who is this?

                   Answer:  Doris Miller

 A Military 1st: A Supercarrier Is Named After is named after him.

Most supercarriers are named after U.S presidents - the USS JOhn F.Kennedy,
USS Ronald Reagan, USS Abraham Lincoln, Henry Kissinger, called them "100,000 tons of diplomacy"
and that power has long been reflected in the Navy's conventions for naming them. Doris Miller, who went by "Dorie" in the Navy , was one of the first American heroes of World War 2

Fact Check

Nearly 30 years ago, May was officially designated as Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Today, more than ever, we should take a moment to recognize some of the many contributions those in the Asian and Pacific Islander community have given us, thereby enriching the American experience.

Wilhelmina Kekelaokalaninui Widemann Dowsett was a Native Hawaiian suffragist who helped organize the National Women's Equal Suffrage Association of Hawaii, the first women's suffrage club in the Territory of Hawaii, in 1912.

"Women's March"

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely only goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

"Are you still awake out there?
"Are you sure about that?
"Can you hear me?
"Are you ready to shake up up the world?
"Welcome to the revolution of love. To the rebellion. To our refusal as women to accept this new age of tyranny. Where not just women are in danger but all marginalized people. Where people uniquely different might be considered a crime. It took us this darkness to wake us the fuck up.
"It seems as though we had all slipped into a false sense of comfort. That justice would prevail and that good would win in the end. Well, good did not win this election but good will win in the end. So what today means is that we are far from the end. Today marks the beginning, the beginning of our story. The revolution starts here. The fight for the right to be free, to be who we are, to be equal. Let's march together through this darkness and with each step. Know that we are not afraid. That we are not alone, that we will not back down. That there is power in our unity and that no opposing force stands a chance in the face of true solidarity.
And to our detractors that insist that this March will never add up to anything, fuck you. Fuck you. It is the beginning of much needed change. Change that will require sacrifice, people. Change that will require many of us to make different choices in our lives, but this is the hallmark of revolution. So my question to you today is are you ready? I said, are you ready? Say yes, we are ready. Say, yes we are ready. One more time: you're ready.
"Yes, I'm angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot of blowing up the White House, but I know that this won't change anything. We cannot fall into despair. As the poet, W.H. Auden once wrote on the eve of World War II: We must love one another or die.
"I choose love. Are you with me? Say this with me: We choose love. We choose love. We choose love."
Repito lo que digo en espanol señores y señoras estan despiertos todavia? Estan listos para mover el mundo? Estar seguros? digo no bueno lo que a pasado porque no!

    Keynote address delivered by Ms. Angelina (UNHCR Special Envoy) to Member States the event UN Peacekeeping Ministerial 2019.
    Delivering a keynote address to the General Assembly ministerial meeting on United Nations peacekeeping, actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian, Angelina Jolie, today (29 Mar) asked for the perspective of women to be taken into consideration in peace negotiations.
    Jolie, who is a Special Envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI), said, “women and girls are still the majority of the victims of war. They are over half of all refugees, and the vast majority of the victims of rape and other sexual and gender-based violence.”

    Jolie highlighted the importance of protection of civilians and called upon member states to increase the participation of women in peacekeeping operations.

    She said, “fearing abuse at the hands of a peacekeeper is not protection. Living with the fear your daughter might be raped by armed combatants, is not safety. Knowing that if your children are harmed, no one will be held accountable, is not a basis for peace and security. Denying half a population representation in peace negotiations or in government is not the route to long-term stability.”

    Jolie told government ministers from around the world gathered at the General Assembly Hall that “women are already contributing to peace in theatres of war across the world without recognition or glory, because it comes naturally to them. It’s important to them.”

    She said, “think how much more we could achieve with women’s equal participation in all aspects of society: not at the expense of men, but alongside men. Because we are all partners in this life.”

    It provides an opportunity for delegates to collectively generate the specialized capabilities necessary for contemporary United Nations peacekeeping as requested in the United Nations Peacekeeping Uniformed Capability Requirements Paper, with a specific focus on increasing the role of women in peacekeeping.
    The meeting, UN Peacekeeping Ministerial: Uniformed capabilities, performance and protection, aims to reaffirm member states’ commitment to UN Peacekeeping and discuss concrete ways to work towards strengthening performance and protecting civilians in the coming year.

    Join us today as we celebrate the Birth of Swami Amar Jyoti according to the Vedic calendar

    Since His passing in 2001,
    Truth Consciousness Ashrams and Publications continue to share Gurudeva's Message of unity,
    wisdom and love.

    Human evolution and upliftment of consciousness do not come about through cultural or technological advance but by the blessing of spiritual unfoldment. In this sacred process, the Master-disciple relationship is paramount. It is the Guru who helps awaken the sleeping consciousness within each soul to the eternal Truth, the Oneness of the Divine and all creation. The Guru brings each soul a vision for an awakened life, based upon spiritual principles. To foster this awakening, a firm foundation is needed, based upon the principles of Dharma (Sanskrit: “that which upholds”) or Righteousness. Virtues such as truthfulness, humility, faith, purity and devotion are inherently Dharmic. This is the classical path of spirituality upon which Swami Amar Jyoti guides each seeker with love and compassion toward transformation.

    The aim of every human being is Self-knowledge or Enlightenment

    When Religion Becomes an Excuse to Discriminate

    This week the Movement Advancement Project launched an ad campaign with a video that shows a widow being denied a funeral service for her deceased wife. I wish this were a purely hypothetical example of the dangers of so-called religious exemption laws and policies, but it was all too real for Jack Zawadski.
    Jack and his late husband, Bob, were partners for over half a century. As Bob’s health deteriorated, Jack’s nephew prearranged funeral services to minimize the stress on Jack. But when the hour of Jack’s heart-wrenching loss arrived, the funeral home refused to take Bob’s body. Upon learning that Bob and Jack were married, objecting funeral home staff told Bob’s nursing home that it went against her beliefs as a Christian.
    In another example of devastating discrimination, a faith-based child welfare agency denied a lesbian couple in Texas the opportunity to foster a refugee child, potentially depriving a child of a loving home. Fatma Marouf and Bryn Esplin are an interfaith couple who both teach at Texas A&M University, where Fatma serves as director of the university’s immigration rights clinic. A federally funded refugee program affiliated with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops invited Fatma to visit and learn about the program’s work with unaccompanied refugee children. Seeing these children in urgent need led the couple to decide to foster one themselves. But early in the application process, to their shock and dismay, they were told they were ineligible because their family structure does not “mirror the Holy Family.”
    Some might think Fatma and Bryn’s experience was a fluke. But the sad reality is that anti-LGBT discrimination happens all the time.
    Despite marriage equality and other advances in LGBT civil rights, calls for help to Lambda Legal show this discrimination remains widespread. Lambda Legal and Family Equality Council recently reviewed more than 1,000 reports of mistreatment in public accommodations alone, and the results are troubling.
    LGBT people in southern states and northern ones, in big cities and small towns, shared stories of humiliation, trauma, and abuse. They described refusals of service in bakeries and hotel lobbies, in doctors’ offices and public transportation. Sometimes the refusals caused disruption and increased costs; sometimes they happened in critical moments when no other options were available.
    Often the rejection happened without warning — in an ordinary instant of an average day — blindsiding its targets, who were at a post office, an accountant’s office, or a barber shop. For others, vicious harassment forced them to seek help from law enforcement or to seek new housing. No matter who the target is and no matter the specifics of the refusal, the emotional impact is real and often searing: LGBT people learn to live defensively, always on guard against another humiliating, ostracizing incident.
    After experiencing such discrimination, most people who have been targeted will suffer both immediate and lasting harms. As Jack was mourning the loss of his beloved partner of many decades, as Fatma and Bryn were planning their future family together, they were abruptly and completely rejected as equals by people operating a business or social services agency.
    As a society, we have learned repeatedly that no one should be turned away from public services just because of who they are. And we have learned that public rejections — from humiliating harassment to outright service denials — inflict lasting damage both to those treated as “less than” and to our fractured society.
    It’s bad enough that anti-LGBT discrimination still happens all the time. But with the push for religious exemption laws, policies, and court cases, it threatens to get worse. As Jack’s, Bryn’s, and Fatma’s stories illustrate, our cherished right of religious liberty is being turned into a tool for discrimination. Opponents of equality for LGBT people, women, and vulnerable others are seeking to exempt themselves from rules intended to ensure safety and fairness for everyone. We have seen too much of this before.
    Some defenders of religious exemptions point to the Masterpiece Cakeshop case currently before the Supreme Court, arguing that no real harm is being done because it’s “just a cake.” But the commercial bakery that casts itself as a victim because it’s expected to serve all customers equally shows the anti-LGBT prejudice still poisoning our society. Whether cake or lodging or medical care, making any targeted group into pariahs is traumatizing, and deadly serious business.
    Opponents of LGBT equality have been preparing for years to deploy religion claims to thwart our progress toward full equality. But in the past year, they have found a powerful new accomplice in the Trump administration. Last month, with the creation of the new Conscience and Religious Freedom unit in the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Civil Rights, the federal government switched focus from protecting patients to prioritizing the “religious or moral” objections of health care workers over medical standards and patients’ needs. We’ve entered an alarming era that’s not just topsy-turvy but dangerous.
    The thousands of reports of refusals and harm that LGBT people already have shared with us are real and urgent warnings that we must not allow this to become a new normal.

    to the plant kingdom thank you!
    to the animal kingdom thank you!

    to all of my relations thank you kikirikiki

    In 1964, I was a little girl sitting on the linoleum floor of my mother’s house in Milwaukee watching Anne Bancroft present the Oscar for Best Actor at the 36th Academy Awards. She opened the envelope and said five words that literally made history: “The winner is Sidney Poitier.” Up to the stage came the most elegant man I had ever seen. I remember his tie was white, and of course his skin was black—and I’d never seen a black man being celebrated like that. And I tried have tried many, many, many times to explain what a moment like that means to a little girl, a kid watching from the cheap seats as my mom came through the door bone tired from cleaning other people’s houses. But all I can do is quote and say that the explanation in Sidney’s performance in Lilies of the Field: “Amen, amen, amen, amen.”

    In 1982, Sidney received the Cecil B. DeMille award right here at the Golden Globes and it is not lost on me that at this moment, there are some little girls watching as I become the first black woman to be given this same award. It is an honor—it is an honor and it is a privilege to share the evening with all of them and also with the incredible men and women who’ve inspired me, who’ve challenged me, who’ve sustained me and made my journey to this stage possible. Dennis Swanson who took a chance on me for A.M. Chicago. Quincy Jones who saw me on that show and said to Steven Spielberg, “Yes, she is Sophia in The Color Purple.” Gayle, who’s been the definition of what a friend is and Stedman, who’s been my rock. Just a few to name.

    I’d like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, because we all know the press is under siege these days. But we also know that it is the insatiable dedication to uncovering the absolute truth that keeps us from turning a blind eye to corruption and to injustice. To—to tyrants and victims and secrets and lies. I want to say that I value the press more than ever before as we try to navigate these complicated times, which brings me to this: What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. And I’m especially proud and inspired by all the women who have felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories. Each of us in this room are celebrated because of the stories that we tell, and this year, we became the story.

    But it’s not just a story affecting the entertainment industry. It’s one that transcends any culture, geography, race, religion, politics, or workplace. So I want tonight to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because they, like my mother, had children to feed and bills to pay and dreams to pursue. They’re the women whose names we’ll never know. They are domestic workers and farm workers. They are working in factories and they work in restaurants and they’re in academia and engineering and medicine and science. They’re part of the world of tech and politics and business. They’re our athletes in the Olympics and they’re our soldiers in the military.

    And there’s someone else, Recy Taylor, a name I know and I think you should know, too. In 1944, Recy Taylor was a young wife and a mother. She was just walking home from a church service she’d attended in Abbeville, Alabama, when she was abducted by six armed white men, raped, and left blindfolded by the side of the road coming home from church. They threatened to kill her if she ever told anyone, but her story was reported to the NAACP where a young worker by the name of Rosa Parks became the lead investigator on her case and together they sought justice. But justice wasn’t an option in the era of Jim Crow. The men who tried to destroy her were never persecuted. Recy Taylor died 10 days ago, just shy of her 98th birthday. She lived as we all have lived, too many years in a culture broken by brutally powerful men. For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men. But their time is up. Their time is up.

    Their time is up. And I just hope—I just hope that Recy Taylor died knowing that her truth, like the truth of so many other women who were tormented in those years, and even now tormented, goes marching on. It was somewhere in Rosa Parks’s heart almost 11 years later, when she made the decision to stay seated on that bus in Montgomery, and it’s here with every woman who chooses to say, “Me too.” And every man—every man who chooses to listen.

    In my career, what I’ve always tried my best to do, whether on television or through film, is to say something about how men and women really behave. To say how we experience shame, how we love and how we rage, how we fail, how we retreat, persevere, and how we overcome. And I’ve interviewed and portrayed people who’ve withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you, but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning, even during our darkest nights. So I want all the girls watching here and now to know that a new day is on the horizon! And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say “me too” again. Thank you.

    16 Iconic Same-Sex Couples Throughout History
    By Ariel Sobel
    source: gay news

    Wherever and whenever LGBT people have lived, they have loved.

    Whether they found romance in ancient Egypt or a 1920s salon, the history of queer people and their lovers is rich with devotion, betrayal, and activism. Throughout history, same-sex couples have managed to fall in and out of love just as clumsily as anyone else.

    For every vintage-obsessed queer person in 2018 who wishes they were in a 1920s romance (with today's freedoms, of course) here are 16 historical same-sex couples you should have known about yesterday.

    Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West

    Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf? Not Vita.

    The ladies men at a 1920s dinner party where Woolf offered to publish a book Vita had been working on with her husband a few years earlier. Relating to each other over their emotionally absent parents, they became confidants and lovers from then on. Together, the two flourished creatively. During their 10-year relationship, West inspired the gender-shifting protagonist of Woolf's Orlando: A Biography. Woolf, who had been abused by her stepbrother, opened up about it to West, and with her, Woolf was for the first time in her life able to have a satisfying sexual relationship.

    Their affair ended in the late 1920s on respectful terms, and they remained close friends.

    Their husbands also showed a high level of respect. Although both ladies' spouses knew about the affair, they never did anything about it. West and her husband had an open marriage, while Virginia's husband wanted his wife to be happy.

    Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum

    Their love certainly stood the test of time — ancient times, to be exact. The two were servants who lived in Egypt around 2400 BC. Manicurists to the royal court who waited upon the pharaoh himself, Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum were found buried together in the tomb of King Unas. How do we know they were lovers? Their bodies were intertwined and their faces were nose-to-nose, a tradition that marked the dead as married couples.

    When their tomb was discovered in 1964, they were reported to be twins. But in the late 1990s, Egyptologist Greg Reeder became convinced they were lovers. On the tomb, Niankhkhnum’s wife was depicted in a banquet scene, her face obscured. Khnumhotep occupies the place that denotes a wife in many of the scenes.

    Egyptologists believe that Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum’s names were strung together in a way that means “joined in life and death.”

    Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas

    Lesbian icon and pioneering writer Gertrude Stein found true love in Toklas, with whom she shared a life for nearly 40 years. They met in Paris, sharing creative ideas in a salon that welcomed Picasso, Matisse, and Ernest Hemingway.

    Although it was the 1920s, the couple celebrated their love in public. But some secrets of their partnership remained private until the 1980s when Yale University opened a locked cabinet when held hundreds of love letters between the two.

    "Because I didn’t say good night and I miss it so, please know now how much I love you,” Stein wrote to Toklas in one of the discovered pages.

    Ethel Collins Dunham and Martha May Eliot
    Two doctors who got their medical degrees together from Johns Hopkins, these women were ambitious and delicious.

    Martha May Eliot met Ethel Collins Dunham while they were students at Bryn Mawr College, where they decided to attend medical school together in 1914 and forever stay by each other's side. Though they were both active in fighting for women's right to vote, their ambitions to medicine separated them until they were both invited to the brand-new pediatrics department at Yale.

    Both pioneers in their own right, they changed the role of women in children's medicine forever. During the Great Depression, Eliot was an architect of the New Deal's programs regarding maternal and child health, and later she was named chief of the Children's Bureau, a federal health agency, by President Truman. Dunham focused on caring for premature babies and newborns, establishing the national standards for how hospitals care for babies. She became one of the first female professors at Yale's School of Medicine, while her partner was the first female member of the American Pediatric Society and the first woman to become president of the American Public Health Association.

    In 1957 the American Pediatric Society awarded Dunham its highest honor, the John Howland Award. She was the first woman to receive the honor. Eliot was the second.

    Lili Elbe and Gerda Gottlieb
    If you've seen The Danish Girl, you've probably already cried over the romance between these two early-20th-century artists, however, the movie omits that both Elbe and Gottlieb identified as LGBT.

    Lili, born Einar Magnus Andreas Wegener, met Gerda at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and married in 1904. Elbe specialized in painted landscapes while Gottlieb illustrated books and fashion magazines. After filling in for Gottlieb's absentee model and putting on stockings and heels, it became clear that Elbe identified as a woman. Gottlieb saw herself as a lesbian and even created famous lesbian erotica paintings. The couple moved to Paris to live openly.

    Gottlieb rose to success as a painter using Lili dressed as a femme fatale as her muse.

    In 1930, Elbe's body dysmorphia drove her to seek out gender-confirmation surgery in Germany. The procedure was highly experimental at the time — Lili is one of the first identifiable subjects — and took four operations over two years. As Elbe's procedure gained press, Danish courts invalidated her marriage to Gottlieb, who remarried and moved to Italy.
    .Having undergone several operations before the age of antibiotics, Elbe died of an infection in 1931.

    Dorothy Arzner and Marion Morgan
    When people say there's yet to be a lesbian auteur in cinema, they are forgetting Dorothy Arzner.

    Arzner, the only successful female director during Hollywood's golden age, was romantically linked to stars including Alla Nazimova and Billie Burke. But everything shifted when Arzner met Marion Morgan, a vaudeville dancer and choreographer, on the set of Fashions for Women. An entrepreneur herself, Morgan led her own performance troupe. The two began a romance and collaborated on films for decades.

    Meanwhile, Arzner helped launch the careers of Katharine Hepburn and Lucille Ball and became the first woman to join the Directors Guild of America and direct a film with sound.

    Successful businesswomen, Arzner and Morgan commissioned architect W.C. Tanner to build them a Hollywood Hills estate, where they lived for 40 years.

    Sallie Holley and Caroline Putnam

    These two abolitionists met at Oberlin College and became agents of the American Anti-Slavery Society as soon as they graduated. The couple traveled on the abolitionist lecture circuit alongside Sojourner Truth fighting for black people to be freed.

    After the Civil War and emancipation, the two split to pursue their calling for justice. Holley gave talks in the North raising money to educate freed slaves, while Putnam went to Virginia to teach them. She ended up founding the Holley School, named after her lover.

    Holley joined Putnam in Lottsburg, Va., where they taught together at the school year-round. Dedicated to encouraging and enabling black men to vote when they as women still could not, they died having left the school to an all-black board of trustees who kept it open for decades.

    Edith Anna Somerville and Violet Florence Martin
    Throughout the late 19th century, Irish novelist Edith Somerville wrote in collaboration with her cousin "Martin Ross," who in reality was her lover, Violet Martin. Publishing 14 stories and novels, the two achieved success under the pseudonym "Somerville and Ross."

    Though they really were cousins, their creative and romantic bond endured.

    After Violet died, Edith continued to write under their shared pen name, convinced that the two could communication through spiritualist séances.

    Greta Garbo and Mercedes de Acosta

    Mercedes de Acosta, a successful poet, playwright, and screenwriter, was an out and proud lesbian who bragged that she could have any woman she wanted. After meeting Hollywood icon Greta Garbo in 1931, she knew exactly what woman that was. The two began a relationship shortly after their introduction, but it was never smooth sailing. At times, Garbo opened her arms and heart to de Acosta, only to pull away. They drew inspiration from each other, with de Acosta penning a screenplay for Garbo to portray Joan of Arc, but it was never filmed. But their romance was never dead even when it was over; Garbo wrote de Acosta 181 letters, cards, and telegrams. In 1959, when de Acosta was destitute, she sold them to the Rosenbach Museum & Library in Philadelphia. "I would not have had the heart or courage to have burned these letters," de Acosta wrote to William McCarthy, curator of the museum. "Greta's and Marlene's who were lovers .... I only hope ... they will be respected and protected from the eyes of vulgar people." Convinced de Acosta was bad luck and upset that she was open about her queer relationships in memoirs, Garbo decided to erase their romance from her life completely. When de Acosta was dying, a friend asked Garbo to write her a goodbye, but out of pain and fear, Garbo refused.

    Eleanor Roosevelt and Lorena Hickok

    Though we don't know for sure if the most consequential U.S. first lady was a member of the LGBT community, it's believed she fell for journalist Lorena Hickok. They met in 1928, when Franklin D. Roosevelt was running for governor of New York. He was elected president four years later, and by the time he was sworn in as commander in chief, the first lady was already wearing a sapphire ring bestowed on her by "Hick," whom she affectionally called Kickok. The journalist joined the Roosevelts every Sunday night for dinner, went on trips with Eleanor to the opera, and was the first to interview her as she took on the White House. Hickok was so in love with her companion that objective reporting became impossible. When apart, the two professed their love via telephone and letter; Roosevelt even kept a picture of Hickock in her study.

    Imagine seeing the world with expansive vision. You have keen perception that combines innumerable perspectives at once. You understand your feelings perfectly. You also sense how others are interpreting the world, how others feel. Their judgments are clear to you. With adequate practice and guidance, this is some of the enlightenment that comes through kundalini awakening. Awaken the dormant energy within you.

    Exploring Kundalini Awakening through the Parable of Shiva and Shakti Kundalini is often described as a dormant serpent energy coiled up at the base of the spine. Imagine a resting snake, coiled eight times, waiting to unleash its magnificent power at the base of a great mountain. She has within her infinite energy potentiating. She is the force of creation, resting, longing to rise up to be in union with consciousness at the heights of spiritual bliss.

    It is said that the serpent is Shakti, a goddess that is legendary for having created all that is. One of two protagonists in a sort of “big bang” origin story, inspired by her longing to be one with Lord Shiva, the other protagonist.

    Lord Shiva symbolizes consciousness and the unmovable power of the observer. He is said to have been meditating for thousands of years while Shakti danced for him. Her longing to be at one, dancing with her beloved provokes him to open one of his three eyes. She beckons for him to dance with her. He closes his eye and rests back in meditation for thousands more years, awaiting her absolute clarity that joining in harmonious union with him is her true desire. As her longing intensifies, she determines that she must dance with her Beloved Lord Shiva. At that, his three eyes open, they dance together, and all at once the universe unfolds into creation. All of nature is created as a result of their union.

    The witness is consciousness, unmoving and unchanging. Nature is all that dances, all that moves and changes in this world. The witness or seer within each of us is Shiva and the nature of all things around us and within us is Shakti. When Shiva and Shakti are separate, spiritual awakening cannot take place. That separate state is known as a duality. The very merging of Shiva and Shakti obliterates duality and opens the spiritual river of oneness through which Kundalini flows.

    According to Yogarupa Rod Stryker, “awakening to this vision of ourselves and the world we live in as ultimately nondual,” is the path to happiness and true spiritual awakening. The bliss state is not conditional. That means the ecstasy of a kundalini awakening does not depend that life play out in any specific way. It’s the type of sheer joy felt by Eckart Tolle as he describes his awakening in, The Power of Now. The unconditional bliss and oneness that a kundalini awakening produces can be experienced only from a state of Samadhi. Samadhi means to be at one with the all things, feeling no separateness or duality from anything in creation. It is a state that yogis strive to realize after many years of mastery under a guru. It is exceedingly rare that anyone has sustained states of Samadhi without a deep well of daily practice and a guru or master teacher as a guide.

    According to Dr. David Frawley, Kundalini is the concentrated energy of awareness or attention. It is not an energy apart from consciousness, but rather the energy that manifests with consciousness when it becomes free from thought.” That is why a dedicated meditation practice can enable kundalini to flow, as the cessation of thoughts is a goal of certain forms of meditation on the path to oneness.

    Kara-leah Grant explains, “When Kundalini awakens, a person may experience deeper empathy with others, and this empathy can almost become telepathic. There is greater sensitivity, higher energy levels, sometimes psychic abilities or deep knowing, ageing can appear to slow down, creativity and charisma can increase, as can internal peace and knowing. There is a sense of being part of All that Is. The greater mysteries of life are no longer mysteries.”

    A person that realizes spiritual enlightenment through a kundalini awakening may chose to work in the healing arts. They tend work in harmony with their true life’s calling, perhaps signaling a change of careers. They may lose interest in material things while becoming more generous. They may speak less and chose words with deeper clarity and meaning.

    A kundalini awakening is not so much a physical force, but the movement of the energy of the subtle body. Therefore you cannot undergo an awakening without taking the right steps to open and purify the channels of the subtle body. If you are not rightly prepared, a kundalini awakening might cause a ruckus that can feel like a breakdown. Take caution as you explore awakening the serpent energy within you.

    If Kundalini is awoken, the energy is said to rise up from the base of the spine from the root chakra, which in parable has been referred to as the base of the mountain. The energy ascends to the peak, which correlates with the crown chakra and the pineal gland. (Carrellas, B. (2007). Urban tantra: sacred sex for the twenty-first century. Berkeley, CA: Celestial Arts. ) “When the pineal gland is activated, a major change in consciousness is experienced, explains Carrellas, author of Urban Tantra.” According to Stryker, awakening the kundalini energy causes a, “state of vision that is super sensory where we can access our highest potential.”

    If a practitioner is unprepared or the kundalini awakens spontaneously, there can be an experience of total inner chaos due to changes in motivation, appearance, diet, weight gain or loss, sensations in the crown of the head, and shifts in personality that an unguided and/or underprepared person might not be able to handle. A spontaneous arousal of kundalini energy can happen as a result of “intense energy work, drug use, sexual experiences, abuse or trauma, yoga practice or life events,” explains Grant.

    The awakening may cause spiritual distress and a total breakdown resulting in a massive life crisis.

    Some people lose jobs and relationships; others experience difficult emotions from a traumatic past as if the trauma is being relived in the moment. The test is weather they can overcome and learn from the past or be beaten by the same daemons from an earlier time. If you are well trained and guided, with strong and steady spiritual practices, you are more likely to manage these astonishing changes and sensations. It is sensible to follow a particular path, to be trained to know the signs and symptoms of a Kundalini Awakening, and to be aware of the changes that may occur so that you have spiritual practices and support of masters to guide you through.

    According to Dr. David Frawley, “The awakening of kundalini requires that prana or life force enter into the sushumna or central channel. This occurs when the prana is withdrawn from its fixation through the thought process on the external world.” /video/pranayama-meditation) In order to open the central channel or sushumna nadi, one can practice alternate nostril breathing along with a number of yoga and tantra practices or focus, breath, and movement.

    To withdraw the senses from the physical body and to cease thought on the external is exceedingly difficult. The ability to do so, even for a brief moment, is the result of the practices of the fifth, 6th, and 7th limbs of yoga which will ultimately lead practitioners to the 8th and final limb, Samadhi. The fifth-seventh limbs can be roughly translated to one sense withdrawal, one-pointed focus of the mind, and concentration without an object. Learning the 8 limbs of yoga in sequential order is important. It is crucial to learn to draw the senses inward prior to learning to focus on one object at a time. Focusing on one object must be done before focus can be dissolved to no sense object. All of those skills must be ascertained prior to dissolving a sense of self that leaves the meditator in a state of Samadhi, in perfect union with all that is.

    You can attempt to experience a kundalini awakening by practicing tantra, yoga (and Kundalini Yoga), as well as other spiritual practices with fervor and dedication for many years. It is ill-advised to rush this process by abusing drugs or partaking in advanced practices meant for practitioners with years more expertise.

    Study with a master teacher. Choose someone with personal experience in spiritual awakening to prepare yourself for a safer transcendence into a higher consciousness and state of oneness.

    Depending on whom you study with and what particular tradition you study, you may learn that Kundalini rises from different points of origin. Yogarupa Rod Stryker states definitively that the kundalini life force energy arises from the navel or third eye pineal gland chakra. This is different from what was earlier described as kundalini living dormant at the root chakra in the base of the spine. Depending on the lineage you study, the practices will differ to bring you to experience this heavenly, and potentially precarious, spiritual awakening.

    If you are not in a state of Samadhi or complete, then what you may experience is not truly a kundalini awakening. What it may be instead is some of your energy centers waking up and gaining life force energy. This is more commonly what people have experienced in the yoga and meditation communities and is regularly confused with a deeper experience of a true kundalini awakening. Be aware that there is a difference.

    If you are called to experience a kundalini awakening, to be shifted and changed from the depths of your being, do so carefully and with guidance. Take your time learning the practices from your chosen spiritual path. Know the signs and symptoms of a kundalini awakening. Be prepared to undergo a major shift in consciousness. Prepare to be awakened (Activated).

    Very Nice A+

    Beloved masters, as you move forward on the path of en-Lighten-ment, and you come to a better understanding of cosmic law and the workings of the universe, we welcome the opportunity to occasionally give you a better understanding of some of the concepts of Creation and the complexity of the physical vessel. Therefore, we would like to give you an in-depth explanation of the composition of the Etheric Body and its importance in the process of ascension. The Etheric Body or Etheric Web, which is much finer in substance than the earthly body, refers to the invisible counterpart of the physical body. The Etheric Body is composed of the physical aura, which conveys your physical state of health via various colors and the distortions – or lack thereof – within the Etheric Web pattern. The emotions of pain, suffering and resentment are thought forms which are keeping you from embracing and becoming the Bearer of Light you were meant to be. The auric field is the invisible electromagnetic force field that surrounds the physical body, and it magnetizes energy to you and radiates vibrational frequency patterns from you.

    The aura of the mental body within the Etheric Web is almost non-existent in those who are trapped in the restrictions of the Third and lower-Fourth Dimensions because they see the world and events through a filter of illusion created by their past beliefs, thoughts and actions.

    When existing in a Third- / Fourth-Dimensional environment, the dominating force within the emotional body is the astral plane. Therefore, a vast majority of people are under the influence of their base personality and the ego desire body, which is composed of unfulfilled yearnings from the past, as well as emotional imbalances and feelings of being unworthy and / or unloved. One of the most dramatic phases of the ascension process is moving through the distortions of the emotional mass-consciousness belief system into the stability, freshness and harmony of the higher Dimensions.

    The ascension process entails the gradual integration and assimilation of the next higher-Dimensional frequency Facet of your Higher Self.  You are in the process of expanding your Light and your consciousness.  Your transformation into Self-mastery, as well as the ascension process, will be greatly accelerated once you have expanded your personal lifeline of Light – an etheric tube of Light  – which is your core connection to your Divine I AM Presence. You are also in the process of reestablishing your connection to the River of Life via your personal Antakarana (Rainbow Bridge of Light), which contains the Creator Essence called Adamantine Particles. Over the many past ages, humanity has diminished the connection to the River of Life/Light so that, in most people, it has become only a small trickle of Life Force energy.

    Remember, one person who is centered within their Sacred Heart and Sacred Mind can convey cosmic truths and inspired thoughts to millions of people while the loving vibrations of their auric field blesses everyone with whom they come in contact.

    ^^   You find yourself withdrawing from social activities and events that were pleasurable in the past.  Loud noises, crowds and boisterous activities disturb you, and you yearn for seclusion, and perhaps the serenity of nature.  As your vibrational frequencies lift and become more harmonious, you will disengage from interaction with people, events and places that emit lower discordant frequencies. Also, gradually, you will have less and less in common with certain friends and relatives, especially those who are negative, judgmental and unkind to others.

    ^^   You may have intense bursts of energy whereby you can hardly stay still, and sometimes you may feel so light inside that you barely feel your bodily form. At other times, you may feel so weighed down that you are almost sinking into the ground, and you may experience extreme fatigue. Your bodily form is going through an intense metamorphosis at an etheric and cellular level, and some of the transformational symptoms are not pleasant – especially for those who exist in an older or somewhat debilitated bodily form.

    ^^   As the Kundalini (Sacred Fire) begins to rise up your spinal column (the etheric tube of Light), you may experience times of intense inner heat, while your exterior body feels cold and even clammy.  That is the reason why, initially, it is best to strive for a gradual release of the Kundalini Fire stored within the Root chakra at the base of the spine so that you may slowly integrate the higher frequencies of God Light.  Faster and more are not necessarily better when you are in the midst of the transformational process of ascension.

    ^^   For those in the early stages of the process, the experience of integrating refined Light frequencies will not be overly dramatic. However, for those StarSeed who are well on their way within the ascension process, and who have agreed to be World Servers, clearing the path for others can be a formidable and an ongoing process as they integrate higher and higher frequencies of Light to share with others.

    ^^  You may feel as though you are on an emotional roller coaster as you experience many emotional ups and downs. You are tapping into and releasing much impacted energy and discordant frequency patterns from a deep cellular level.  It is important to allow these feelings to come to the surface so they can be transmuted into more refined Light substance. It is important that you learn to become an observer of what is occurring, as you objectively view, process and rectify with loving patience and understanding that which is being revealed to you.

    ^^  Your eating habits may change drastically. Whatever you choose to eat, follow your inner guidance, and monitor how your body feels after you have ingested anything. Your Body Elemental or inner body intelligence is awakening, and if you will pay attention, it will direct you to the proper food and diet.  Always remember, moderation in all things is the key.

    ^^   You may have many strange aches and pains for which there is no definitive diagnosis.  There are many minor chakra and meridian points within the physical body. As the higher frequencies of Light try to flow throughout the body, they can meet resistance at these critical junctures, which can cause discomfort.  One of the most common areas of distress is in the area of the spinal column of the upper back, between the shoulder blades.

    ^^   You may feel as though you are losing your mind or at least your memory. There are multi-Dimensional levels within the brain, so as you lift your frequency patterns, the lower levels of the brain will gradually be refined. Therefore, you will no longer need or be able to access much of your negative past history, as well as much of the trivia you have stored there. You will be gaining access to the higher levels of the brain where your Sacred Mind dwells. The unification between the Sacred Mind and the Sacred Heart is an integral part of the ascension process.

    My brave ones, you must admit, it is an exhilarating time to be in the physical vessel, and yet your physical vessel is struggling to keep up with the ever-increasing frequencies that you are integrating moment-by-moment and day-by-day. Many of you who have not suffered colds, the flu or intestinal disturbances for many years are now experiencing these debilitating symptoms, and some of you ask, “What am I doing wrong?”  You are not doing anything wrong, dear hearts; it is what you are doing right that is causing some of these uncomfortable bouts of bodily distress. We acknowledge the fact that these occurrences are not pleasant to experience.  However, we wish to give you another facet of truth to ponder on. Again, many of you who are deeply submersed in the transformational ascension process are experiencing these uncomfortable symptoms as a way to quickly transmute the old negative energies within your physical vessel. You could call it a transmutation or baptism by fire, a burning and releasing of old frequency patterns to allow the higher, more refined crystalline cells of consciousness to infiltrate and take dominion within. Not all viruses are bad, nor are all the uncomfortable symptoms you are experiencing. See them as a means to an end and serving a higher purpose.  These things, too, will pass, dear ones.

    We ask you to nurture yourselves and to pay attention as never before to your physical vessels and the signals or messages your wise Body Elemental projects to you. How will you enjoy the beautiful world of love, joy and abundance you are creating if your precious physical vessel is not vibrant and healthy?

    Join us in your Pyramid of Light, beloveds, and allow us assist you to move through the process with ease, grace and great joy. May the radiance of our Father/Mother God pour down upon you and fill you with the Light of Life everlasting. Know that we are ever near to guide and protect you. I AM Archangel Michael.

    All beings within our galaxy have this energetic force that is known as Kundalini.

    The term Kundalini comes from a Sanskrit word ‘Kundal’ meaning “coiled up”. Kundalini is often called the “serpent power” and is the energy that nourishes the Tree of Life within us. It is the primordial female energy that lives at the base of the spine inside the triangular bone known as the Sacrum.

    We are born with Kundalini although this energy remains dormant throughout most mankind until it is ready to be awakened. A kundalini awakening can be achieved through initiative ritual or can happen spontaneously due to the individual soul.

    In truth, we are Awakening since birth, it is not a light switch you turn on automatically or one you can turn off once it happens because it is happening to all of us. It all amounts to different levels of awareness that all mold together in the end. We are each various parts of the same ONE experience that is endless life.

    Spiritual Awakening can happen to anyone at any age. There are many methods of awakening the kundalini fire such as yoga, meditation, near-death experience, mind-substances, sex, out-of-body experience, pro-longed stress, initiation by a guru, shamanic ritual and even crocheting.

                  It has happened to many gurus, spiritual practitioners, shamans and various others throughout history. Gopi Krishna, one of the founders of Kundalini research experienced kundalini awakening due to a sacred meditation known as the1 Golden Flower method. It is said the Golden Flower method takes over 100 days of practice to start forming the built up energy of kundalini which leads into the understanding of self-realization.

    There are numerous methods of initiation where the kundalini is achieved through the help of a master teacher or guru when they take special preparations to direct the flow of kundalini through the awakening of consciousness. While there are others who have experienced Awakening at a faster rate in time such as Terence McKenna, philosopher and psychonaut.

    He discovered the miraculous secrets of the universe by eating psilocybin magic mushrooms in the Amazon. It lead into his extensive research on psychedelics which McKenna believed are the key to “trans-dimensional travel” of the human psyche.

    Ramana Maharshi, a famous Hindu guru born in 1870 experienced when he was only sixteen a Kundalini awakening by a sudden annihilating fear of death that overtook his body. It was through the realization of looking inward by contemplating about death he was able to experience a spontaneous awakening through Ego death.
    Philip St. Romain, a Christian Minister experienced his own shocking awakening through the simple method of prayer to God.
    Aleister Crowley, famous occultist and founder of the religion Thelema in the late 1800s, had various methods of his own pertaining to Magick including alchemy, sex, hashish and Mescaline.
    Aldous Huxley, the English writer of Brave New World went through an awakening experience through Peyote[mescaline] where he relived his experiences within his life-altering book of the 1950s, The Doors of Perception. The Doors of Perception created absolute outrage over the open vulnerable experience of psychedelics which was barely even acknowledged in the 1950s. The discovery of the beauty of the universe lead him into researching psychedelic and Psychiatric studies.
    The presence of Kundalini has even intrigued the intellectual mind of Carl Jung, Alan Watts, Timothy Leary, Daniel Pinchbeck, Maynard Keenan, Joe Rogan, Russell Brand, and various iconic intellectuals.

    The Kundalini Shakti has ignited the fire within many individuals throughout the entire world from the Shaman to the psychiatrist to the average adult to the psychonauts. The point is Awakening is not a special elite, it can and will happen to everyone at some point in their existence.

    At the heart of the Kundalini experience is something known as the initiation of Shaktipat. Shaktipat is the transfer of spiritual energy from the teacher to the student in order to initiate the kundalini Shakti. It can happen in person or at a distance. In truth we are all accessing this Shaktipat energy because our reality is made from electromagnetic fields of energy currents.

    The initiation of Shaktipat is merely another symbol into the different levels of Awakening. This Spiritual energy is composed from the oscillation of given frequency waves that connect together through the collective consciousness.

    Kundalini is naturally a creative energy it is the same feeling that Einstein encountered when he discovered the theory of Relativity. Likewise it the same current you feel when struck with inspiration for composing a song, painting a picture or writing a novel.

    The very aspect of creativity is linked towards Kundalini energy, this is why creative means are linked towards our right-hemisphere because they directly connect to the spirit world and it’s Queen, Kundalini Shakti. Also Kundalini is highly acknowledged as a sexual energy. It is literally the same energy you feel when having an orgasm, the kundalini fire. It is through channeling this energy from the sex organs up through the spine into the master glands of the brain stem that creates the Kundalini Flow. This is why Awakening can happen on accident through sexual intimacy if not careful. While Kundalini is rooted in the sex glands, it is not the sole cause of Kundalini. The sexual energy of Kundalini is merely one part of the experience, it has been said that in truth Kundalini is about the opening or awakening of the Heart Center. Jana Dixon emphasizes this in her own very intensively researched book on the Biology of Kundalini. She states,

    “It’s not sex per se that helps to trigger kundalini, it’s the vasodilation of the cardiovascular system, and the associated introduction of new parasympathetic levels of “relaxation” in the body-mind….Normally chaotic electrocardiogram spectrum patterns become coherent during positive states like falling in love. What initiates kundalini is therefore the opening of the heart, coupled with the positive state of the mind and increased prana flow that comes with being in love. Love in whatever form is transformational, for love is source energy”

    It is the Heart opening that creates the bridge between the lower and higher chakras, causing Kundalini Shakti to travel to the crown, awakening the mind to higher intelligence. The heart is vastly important towards Awakening because it is the connection piece that enables the kundalini to flow properly. According to the latest research in neurocardiology “the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information.[ref] The Heart has it’s Own Brain and Consciousness[/ref] The heart is actually quite stronger than the brain. For instance in the article on The Energetic Heart is Unfolding, it states: “The heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body. The electrical field as measured in an electrocardiogram (ECG) is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the brain waves recorded in an electroencephalogram (EEG).” [ref][/ref] “The magnetic component is approximately 5000 times stronger than the brain’s magnetic field and can be detected several feet away from the body with sensitive magnetometers.”[ref] The Heart has it’s Own Brain and Consciousness[/ref] This means that not only is the heart stronger than the mind, it is also able to perceive information through electromagnetic currents in the very same way as the brain can. That being said The heart center is a huge component to Awakening because it is the opening of the heart center where we begin to develop empathy, unconditional love and compassion towards others on our own journey.

    The Myth of Kundalini
    It is symbolically an art form based in Tantric philosophy.

    In Tantra[ref][/ref], the story starts with the entire universe seen as a manifestation of Consciousness. When manifesting this Universe, the consciousness became divided into two regions neither of which can exist without the other. In order to enable the totality of Manifestation each requires the other.

    The first region, Shiva is a masculine force that remains identified with the unmanifest consciousness. where he has the power to be at rest rather than change. While Shakti, the feminine force is flexible, dynamic and creative seen as the Great Mother of the universe where all form is born.

    Within Tantra, the human being is personified as a miniature universe or the microcosm of the macrocosm. “All that is found in the cosmos can be found within each individual, and the same principles that apply to the universe applys in the case of the individual being.” [ref][/ref]

    The Androgynous - Shiva & Shakti

    In the human body lives Shakti, the feminine aspect called Kundalini. This energetic force rests at the base of the spine in the sacrum. The Tantric practice of Kundalini yoga is about igniting this powerful cosmic energy to ascend through the chakras that live along the axis of the spine where conscious thought is born. Shakti dances her way through the ascension of the Chakra system above the crown to unite with Shiva, pure consciousness. This is the basis of Kundalini where we merge duality into unity, shiva-shakti, uniting our conscious perception into ascending into a higher intelligence of human awareness. There is also the descent of Kundalini which few talk about where once the Kundalini reaches sushumna it still has to travel back down to the Material Plane. This is where you take everything that you have learned from the Kundalini awakening and start applying it to your own life. The descent of kundalini transforms our physical reality, instead of feeling your life is mundane and trivial you surrender to life and the universal flow of existence. You become the observer of reality and co-creator of your own subjective experience.

    There are also three channels that are vastly important to Kundalini known as the Nadis. Nadi translates to “stream”. These are subtle channels that direct the energy through the body where they circulate and flow. According to the Kundalini Yoga, there are 72,000 nadis in the astral body that all correspond directly with the nerves of the physical human form. [ref]Kundalini yoga[/ref] Of these, Ida, Pingala and Sushumna are considered the most important. Ida is known as the left channel, the feminine force that represents the moon. Then there is Pingala, the right channel, which is the masculine force and symbolizes the Sun. Finally Sushumna, the central channel where Ida and Pingala intertwine.  In the Masculine body Kundalini rests within the perineum between the urinary and excretory organs. While in the feminine body it’s location is the root of the uterus, the center of creation within the cervix. [ref]Satyananda Saraswati. Kundalini Tantra. Yoga Publications Trust. India 2002[/ref] All three meet in Muladhara or the Root Chakra where Shakti, the unconscious kundalini symbolized as a serpent blocks the entrance to Sushumna with its mouth. Therefore the Kundalini Serpent remains coiled at the base of the spine asleep until the Awakening of Kundalini.

    kundalini The power of the Kundalini fire is a powerful energetic force that can transmogrify any being who undergoes the process of Awakening. It is said that once the Sushumna, the central nervous channel rises to the brain stem further into the crown above the head which causes the blooming of the thousandths petalled lotus known as enlightenment or self-realization . It can awaken us to a higher cognitive intelligence that opens our consciousness to altered states of awareness. In other words, we can awaken our consciousness through the arousal of Kundalini which can induce psychic gifts and brings into our awareness multiple dimensions of the inner workings of the psyche. It also helps us utilize more of our brain capacity than normal cognitive understanding. The Kundalini force is essentially the epitome of the human experience. It is the divine essence of ourselves experienced within the individual. It goes by many names throughout numerous cultures such as nirvana, samadhi, shangri-la, Bliss, ecstasy, communion, Brahman, quintessence of man, liberation, the stairway to heaven, path of the initiates, these all symbolize the same thing which is Kundalini Awakening. In Psychology we label it as the unconscious or subconscious aspect of consciousness. Kundalini can be a powerful force that unleashes the illusions of this world which can bind us and terrify us as our reality starts ripping apart at the seams. However this energy also liberates our soul and starts putting the puzzle pieces of the mystery together that is reality. Once we awaken the sleeping serpent our life is forever changed. We are liberated from the confines of the material form and see beyond the veil of time into the other worlds of reality that is only seen in the conformist’s eye as the world of the “unknown”.

    The History and Symbolic Representation of Kundalini
    Although the precise origin of Kundalini is unknown it has been acknowledged throughout various cultures originating from the Upanishads around the 5thcentury. It is described extensively within Tantric and Vedic scriptures as well as Egyptian mythology. The concept of Kundalini is within various religions such as Hinduism, Gnosticism, Buddhism, Kabbalah, Taoism and many more. In fact almost all religions speak of this innate inner power in some form or symbolic context, it even appears within the Holy Bible. The old Testament is filled with many symbolic interpretations that connect directly towards spiritual awakening. For instance, Jesus even mentioned awakening is the true destiny for all Christians:

    “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even as the son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life”.

    Another passage that is significant towards Awakening is written in the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas where it states:

    “The kingdom of God is Within you [Luke 17:21]”

    Originally humanity has named this energy by the work of various deities, gods, goddesses, angels and divinities each with a sacred story of creation that all underlines the same thing that is the awakening of Kundalini. The Egyptian Legend of Osiris, The Babylonian Enuma Elish, the Norse’s creation myth,The Korean Legend of Dan Gun, The Tibettan scriptures, the Navajo Story of Emergence, the Maya’s Popol Vuh, Hermes Trismegistus’s Emerald Tablets of Thoth and many other mythologies all underline the same symbolic creation of the Awakening. The symbol of the snake is one that has been known since the beginning of time including the story of Adam and Eve. The serpent is represented as the vital energy of kundalini, it shows sexuality, fertility, transmutation and healing.

    Most recognizably, the Serpent can shed it’s skin going through a process of renewal and rebirth. It is a transformation of internal alchemy where it unmasks the illusions and limitations of the soul.

    The three and half coils of the Kundalini serpent are also a symbol for the past, present and future experience of self. They represent the mantras of OM[AUM] relating to the three states of consciousness: tamas [sleeping], rajas[dreaming], and sattva[waking]. They also represent the three types of experience: subjective, sensual and absence of experience while the half coil represents the state of transcendence, neither awake, sleeping or dreaming.

    The famous sculptures of the Pharaohs in Egypt with the two snakes wrapped around the headdress, this too is also kundalini. The Chinese guardian Lions grasping the sacred sphere of the flower of life is also linked to awakening. The occult symbol of Baphome2t often seen as the symbol of the devil is actually the symbol of the pathway of kundalini. It is even depicted within both Greek and Roman mythology where it is symbolized as Hermes[or Mercury] ‘s Caduceus. A symbol of a golden staff with two snakes entwined together wrapped around to the top, surmounted with wings.

    This is represented as the awoken kundalini, the staff represents the spinal cord or the physical vessel while the two snakes represent Ida and Pingala the masculine and feminine energy channels. The Wings are the Awakened one that ascends their consciousness, the symbol of Ascension. We should all be quite familiar with this symbol; it is also misrepresented as the medical symbol we use in modern society often confused with the staff of Asclepius. The Symbolism of the Kundalini serpent has shown its way throughout history in mythology, literature, esoteric, hermetic, alchemical, and even biblical texts. It is undeniable to see the history of Kundalini is not a new concept but one that has evolved over time.

    The Process of Kundalini

    Awakening is as beautiful as birth and terrifying as death, it’s the ripping and crumbling away of illusions that encase your reality. We cannot perceive Awakening as merely a simple matter one that is shown as a metaphor or symbol, it is a biological process into the neurological changes of our genetic substructure of our DNA strands. When we awaken we are not merely going through a change of awareness we are entering the chemical or alchemical change of our physical body, soul and mind. To understand how this works we have to not only see this from an energetic standpoint but also down to the levels of cellular and molecular biology. If we separate one from the other we are merely labeling only one half of the same Whole experience. When we are able to understand this frequency of existence encompasses everything down to our cellular structures within our body, this changes everything. For some this may seem impossible, although what Neurobiology shows us through extensive study that this can be possible.

    The process of Kundalini is a complex mechanism that is fundamentally linked to biological processing and changes within the central nervous system. We must think of our consciousness or human body as a light body made of miraculous energetic form. Imagine yourself lik1e a light bulb beaming with currents of electromagnetic frequency rippling off sound waves that create cellular communication between cell pathways. This is what our body is doing all the time, the average computer seems primitive compared to the systematic functions of the human mind. We are an intricate system tied between billions of interconnected cells organized in an aggregate matter within and without many layers. Each layer connects to a different level of cellular communication that translates into conscious awareness. These layers connect into our biological processing and our energetic processing through the dimensional layers of consciousness known as our subtle body. Everything you do, say, feel, touch, taste, smell and think revolves around the communication between one organism that is your brain. Every organ within your body is a communication device directing signals towards neurons in your mental cavity. Your reality doesn’t exist without your conscious awareness and this is inscrutability linked with how our mind processes reality. Kundalini doesn’t just exist on the energetic level or only the physical level, it is a process between the connection of both through the cognitive understanding of the brain.

    Everything is connected from your internal mind to your external reality that you manifest with the power of your thoughts. This process lives inside of us through Cosmology due to quantum physics, geometrically through energetic fractal formations by mathematics, systematically through entrainment of synchronization, and mentally through the projection of biologically processing information from our mind. The Universe is a miraculously orchestrated systematic divine order that is created through an intricate design governed by the processing of our own human consciousness. If that doesn’t show you the beauty of existence I’m not sure what could… This system is an intricate design because it is more than just one layer of consciousness, it is a multitude of layers upon endless layers of consciousness that are built around probability wave functions composed of energy. It is through these probability wave functions that matter comes to form which produces the reality you live and breathe in everyday of your life.

    Gopi Krishna stated it perfectly, “ The empiricist who would like to explore this territory must experiment in the laboratory of his own self”. It is almost tongue in cheek to realize that what we are endlessly searching for outside of ourselves can only be actualized within ourselves. You come into the world through the spirit world and you thrive in the material world they are inter-connected parts of ourselves. This is the missing key, we are the bridge between worlds. It is not one or the other it is both. It is a two-way street and you aren’t going to get anywhere if you’re still stuck at the crossing light trying to figure out which direction you need to go.

    The experience of a Kundalini Awakening can vary greatly but the undercurrents are naturally the same, it’s about finding and uniting with the god source within all of us. The Process of a Kundalini Awakening is not a simple endeavor it can take years perhaps even decades to open your kundalini. It also revolves around conscious choice through the individual soul perhaps through their own soul blueprint. Although for the most part it can happen spontaneously where the ignition of the unconscious begins to take over your life at a lightning fast speed that for many individuals, words don’t do justice to the experience itself. There are various symptoms that happen once the kundalini is awakened which are stated here: Symptoms of Kundalini Awakening.

    Kundalini is nothing to do with ethics or religion, it is centered around our experiences and view of the world. The process of kundalini doesn’t just awaken your energy, it transforms your entire life experience. It changes your personal attachments, philosophies, priorities and gives us the challenge of endurance. It expressively opens up our perceptions into various planes of reality, these are known as dimensions of consciousness. The Kundalini serpent creates a look into the other side of human awareness a place where everyone can tap into at will when they are ready to enter. The process itself can bring a quickening of thoughts, an onset of telepathic communication, sensory overload, visions, hallucinations, seeing/feeling energy and startling philosophical revelations that creates pure clarity and vision of conscious awareness.

    Although the process of Kundalini does have many aspects of clarity and bliss we must not forget this is the deconstruction and transcendence of our Ego mind. As Carl Jung states, “there1 is no coming to consciousness without pain”. There are varying degrees of a Kundalini experience that could be expressed as a roller coaster of emotion once you are on the track of awakening. The Awakening of Kundalini brings a shocking transformation towards the individual where their internal and external world is turned upside down.

    What Kundalini creates is a catalyst inside of your mind which manifests into your physical reality. This catalyst unleashes the unconscious mind from its slumber where it starts bringing the subconscious to the forefront of your mind. This enables our minds to start accessing our long-term memories. It begins activating through various psychological archetypal triggers within the brain stem that create the given frequency to open doors into various perceptions of reality. When the unconscious is released, we awaken the Kundalini Shakti which isn’t always a pleasant experience in the beginning…

    It creates a remote dissociation with the material world as our mind fully disconnects from the old shell of consciousness. It is the Medulla oblongata that helps activate the unconscious brain into a distinct action that creates what is known as the Dark Night of the Soul. The Dark night of the soul puts our consciousness in a pure auto-pilot unconscious fight/flight response of adrenal activity. In energetic terms it is the disconnection of the Root Chakra. This creates a psychosomatic response that is instinctual within our minds. It is a primitive fact we learn through the mirror of others since infancy. It is this mirror reflection that rules our lives but we never seem to question the mirror. When we go through the dark night of the soul everyone becomes our personal mirror.  In the book, Biology of Kundalini Jana Dixon states extensively on the importance of the changes in the Nervous system due to Kundalini Awakening:

    “The unconscious nervous system is the autonomic nervous system…which yogis do have some control over. Many of the kundalini symptoms arise from the brainstem, which consists of the medulla, pons, cerebellum and midbrain…that is the majority of kundalini symptoms originate from areas of the brain that are beyond our normal control. Hence many of the symptoms and feelings arise directly from physiological events triggered by specific neural circuits and changes in neurochemistry. Over the period of peak awakening sex hormones and other pituitary hormones are raging; the heart is radically expanded and engorged with blood, and the digestive system venting due to parasympathetic hypertonality; skeletal muscles are ready for action and hypervigilance is up due to the fight-or-flight activation of the sympathetic nervous system.”

    The Dark night of the soul is where our mirrors become our antithesis, or as Carl Jung calls it “The shadow self”. The shadow self shows us what we don’t want to see, it digs deep inside of ourselves and presents all of our darkest fears and insecurities. The dark into the unseen is the place where many lose themselves within their own shadows, constantly fighting themselves through others and creating their own projected chaos into the mirrors of others. You begin to retreat inside of yourself where the universe is urging you to look within and question.

    This is the catalyst of awakening. The ripple of change that is not always pleasant but needed to see into the inner workings of the mind. The further one travels inside the darkness, the deeper the healing that it creates through the cleansing of the soul’s psyche. It is where we see that our darkness is merely an illusion of our eternal light. Once we are able to confront and face our own internal darkness of reality we are ready to rise up to the truth of this world. It is not a simple process, awakening is the deconstruction of the old karmic self or the old consciousness where it must give birth to the awakening of the evolutionary soul.

    When the adrenals are completely healed it enables the kundalini flow to take flight and start the karmic healing process. The ascension through the chakra strands enables our DNA to start operating on our nervous system turning on the functions of various genes to jump-start our consciousness to a higher perception of reality. This activation of the nervous system creates the given thought process to enable healing and open the door of particular structures of different healing modules that manifest into our physical reality. You will notice when awakening you will have particular situations that come to you at synchronized times that completely alter your thought process and your reality involving deep-wounded healing. They can manifest as illness, troubled relationships, death of a loved one, prolonged stress, and various events that alter a person’s life.

    Research on Kundalini
    Unfortunately due to Kundalini being a taboo subject there isn’t much scientific research on the biological processing of Kundalini as of today. There is even the absurd notion of “Kundalini Syndrome” which is a completely misunderstood disease directly linking to what is known as Kundalini Awakening. Kundalini is not a psychotic disorder, it is not delusions of your subconscious and it is definitely not insanity. It is ultimately an experience that changes the conditioning of consciousness.

    However many people who have researched kundalini believe this is due to cellular regeneration and changes within the nervous system. It is said this activation within your nervous system restructures the cellular bonds to enable the frequency of cellular regeneration. Thus creating the healing module to restructure the brain and awaken signals that were once hidden towards humanity’s capacity of the brain stem. Although there needs to be more scientific documentation on the subject, there are already numerous studies being started on neuroplasticity and how the brain can change itself.  Most famously there is groundbreaking research being done in neuroscience where they have seen changes within the mind through its structure and function by our thoughts and activities. They performed many experiments and cognitive exercises that prove with practice our brain can change due to thoughts alone. This can be further studied within the book, The Brain That Changes itself by Norman Doidge, MD. [ref]Norman Doidge, MD, The Brain That Changes Itself, Penguin Books, 2007[/ref]

    Another similar reference to Neuroplasticity and Kundalini is from the author JJ Semple and his book Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time. When he was younger he had a childhood accident that robbed him of his memories and talents as he grew up and discovered the golden flower method which ignited his own kundalini awakening. Due to changes within his Nervous system, he was able to revitalize his cognitive development, personality and even restore brain cells that he had lost since he was the age of seven. You can read more on his story here: Neuroplasticity and Kundalini

    Bentovs modelThere is also an extensively researched blog by Iona Miller on Epigenetics and how they relate to the evolution of humanity pertaining directly towards Kundalini. She believes it’s not only the nervous system influence but our physical genes that change and transmute dna strands. It’s a very interesting read: The Kindling effect – Epigenetics and How Evolution Really works

    Itzak Bentov, a Czech scientist developed his own Kundalini model on brain activation and has written a few mind-expanding books on the subject of human evolution and consciousness.  [ref]Bentov’s Model of the Kundalini[/ref]

    “According to this model, when Kundalini ascends the spine through the sushumna nadi (the main channel of subtle energy), it results in a huge energy influx into the brain. As the Kundalini flows from the thalamus to the cortex, it sets up a powerful energy loop within the brain, generating coherent alpha and gamma waves, and awakening the dormant, non-mechanical parts of the brain which we have never used before. With increasing levels of coherence, the whole brain comes alive, turning into a super-conductor of conscious energies that heal, empower and transform our lives. Enhanced awareness levels, greater creativity and extraordinary abilities start to express through us like levitation, teleportation and materialization. Brain activation is also known to slow down the ageing process and improve immunity to disease.” [ref]Scientific Study of Kundalini Activation and it’s benefits [/ref]

    Although the most notable influence on Kundalini Research is Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a controversial guru, spiritual teacher and founder of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, an ashram that offers various programs on meditation, Vedic tradition, yoga and healing located in Bengaluru, India. Hes been teaming up with scientists to try to decipher the biological means of Kundalini Awakening. They conducted a group experiment where 600 participants who attended Nithyananda’s intensive yoga and meditation retreat were tested for 21 days. The results were groundbreaking and can be viewed here:  Scientific Study of Kundalini Activation

    In general Kundalini Research is only at the beginning of its time, if more people begin to look into the science and biological processing of Kundalini we could make some miraculous changes towards health, mental illness, how we view psychology, social anxiety and many more! The Revolution is the Evolution of Consciousness.

    Very Good A+

    Excellent A+

    Rarely have we seen a person failed who has thoroughly follow our path. those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves.

    There are such unfortunates they are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way.  They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty. Their chances are less than average. There are, those, who suffer grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them recover if they have the capacity to be honest.

    Our stories disclose in a general way what we use to be like, what happened, and what we are now. If you have decided you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it. Then you are ready to take certain steps.

    At some of these we balked. We thought, we could find an easier softer way,  but we could not. With all earnestly  at our command. We beg of you to be fearless and thorough from the very start. Some of us have tried to hold on to old ideas but the result was nil until we let go absolutely.

    Remember that we deal with alcohol- cunning, baffling and powerful! Without help it is too much for us. But there is One who has all the power - that one is God. May you find him now!

    Step One

    “We admitted we were powerless over alcohol – that our lives had become unmanageable.”

    Who  cares to admit complete defeat? Practically no one, of course. Every natural instinct cries out against the idea of personal powerlessness. It is truly awful to admit that, glass in hand, we have warped our minds into such an obsession for destructive drinking that only an act of Providence can remove it from us.
                No other kind of bankruptcy is like this one. Alcohol, now become the rapacious creditor, bleeds us of all self- sufficiency and all will to resist its demands. Once this stark fact is accepted, our bankruptcy as going human concerns is complete.
                But upon entering A.A We  soon take quite another view of this absolute humiliation. We perceive that only through utter defeat are we able to take our first steps toward liberation and strength. Our admissions of personal powerlessness finally turn out to be firm bedrock upon which happy purposeful lives may be built.
                We know that little good can come to any alcoholic who joins A.A. unless he has firs accepted his devastating weakness and all its consequences. Until he so humbles himself, his sobriety- if any- will be precarious. Of real happiness he will find none at all. Proved beyond doubt by an immense experience, this is one of the facts of A.A life.
    The principle that we shall find no enduring strength until we first admit complete defeat is the main taproot from which our whole Society has sprung and flowered.
                When first challenged to admit defeat, most of us revolted. We had approached  A.A. expecting to be taught self -confidence. Then we  had been told that so far as alcohol is concerned, self- confidence was no good whatever, in fact, it was a total liability. Our sponsors declared that we were victims of a mental obsession so subtly powerful that no amount of human willpower could break it. There was,  they said , no such thing as personal conquest of this compulsion by the unaided will. Relentlessly deepening our dilemma, our sponsors pointed out our increasing sensibility to alcohol- an allergy, they called it. The tyrant alcohol wield a double edged sword over us: First we  were smitten by an insane urged that condemned us to go on drinking, and then by an allergy of the that insured we would ultimately destroy ourselves in the process. Few indeed were those, who assailed, had ever won through in single handed combat. It was a statistical that alcoholics almost never recover on their own resources. And this has been true, apparently, ever since man had first crushed grapes.
                In A,A,’s pioneering time, no one but the most desperate cases could swallow and digest this unpalatable truth. Even these “last-gaspers” often had difficulty how hopeless they actually were. But a few did, and when  these laid hold of A.A. principles with a the fervor with which the drowning seize life preservers, they almost invariably got well. That is why the first edition of the book “alcoholics anonymous” published when our membership was small, dealt with low-bottom cases only. Many less desperate alcoholics tried A.A., but did not succeed because they could not make the admission of hopelessness.
                It is tremendous satisfaction to record that in the following years this changed. Alcoholics who still had their health, their families, their jobs, and even two cars in the garage, began to recognize their alcoholism. As this trend grew, they were joined by young people who were scarcely more than potential alcoholics. They were spared that last ten or fifteen years of literal hell the rest of us had gone through. Since Step One require and admission that our lives have become unmanageable, how could people like us these take this step?
                It was obviously necessary to raise the bottom the re of us hit to the point where it could not hit them. By going back in our own drinking stories, we could not show that years before we realized it we were out of control, that our drinking even then was no mere habit, that it was indeed the beginning of a fatal progression. To the doubters we could say, “Perhaps you are not an alcoholic after all. Why don’t you try some more controlled drinking, bearing in mind meanwhile  we have told you about alcoholism?” This attitude brought immediate and practical results. It was then discovered that when one alcoholic had planted in the mind of another the true nature of his malady, that person could never be the same again. Following every spree, he would say to himself, “Maybe those A.A’’s were right…” after a few such experiences, often years before the onset of extreme difficulties, he would return to us convinced.  He had hit bottom as truly as any of us, John Barleycorn himself had become our best advocate.
                Why all this insistence that every A.A. must hit bottom first? The answer is that few people will sincerely try to practice A.A. program unless they had hit bottom. For practicing the A.A. program unless they have hit bottom firs? The answer is that few people will sincerely try to practice the A.A. program unless they have hit bottom. For practicing A.A.’s remaining eleven Steps means the adoption of attitudes and actions that almost no alcoholic who is still drinking can dream of taking. Who wishes to be rigorously honest and tolerant? Who wants to confess his faults to another and make restitution to harm done? Who cares anything about Higher Power, let alone meditation and prayer? Who wants to sacrifice time and energy in trying to carry A.A.’s message to the next sufferer? No,  the average alcoholic, self- centered in the extreme, doesn’t care for this prospect – unless he has to do these things in order to stay alive himself.
                Under the lash of alcoholism, we are driven to A.A., and there we discovered the fatal nature of our situation. Then, and only then, do we become as open minded to conviction and as willing to listen as the dying can be. We stand ready to do anything which will lift the merciless obsession from us.

    “Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves will restore us to sanity.”

    The moment they read Step 2, most A.A. new comers are confronted with a dilemma, sometimes a serious one. How often do we hear them cry out “Look what you people have done to us! You have convinced us that we are alcoholics and that our lives have become unmanageable. Having reduced us to a state of absolute helplessness, you now declare that none but a Higher Power can remove our obsession. Some of us won’t believe in God,  others can’t and still others who do believe that God exists have no faith He will perform a miracle. Yes, you got us over the barrel, all right – but where do we go from her?’
    Let’s look first at the case of the one who says he wont believe- the belligerent one. He is in a state of mind which can be described only as savage. His whole philosophy of life, in which he so gloried, is threatened.  It’s bad enough, he thinks, to admit alcohol has him down for keeps. But now, still smarting from admission, he is faced with something really impossible. How he does cherish the thought that man, risen so majestically from a single cell in the primordial ooze, is the spearhead of evolution and therefore the only god that his universe knows! Must he renounce all this to save himself?
                At this juncture, his A.A. sponsor usually laughs. This the newcomer thinks, is just about the last straw. This is the beginning of the end. And so it is: the beginning of the end of his old life, and the beginning of  his emergence into a new one. His sponsor probably says, “Take it easy, The hoop you have jump through is a lot wider than you think. At least I found it so. So did a friend of mine was one-time vice president of the American Atheist Society, but he through with room to spare.”
                            “Well,” says the newcomer, “I know you’re telling me the truth. It’s no doubt a fact that A.A. is full of people who once believed  as I do. But just how, in these circumstances, does a fellow ‘take it easy”? That’s what I want to know”
                            “That,” agrees the sponsor, “is a very good question indeed. I think I can tell you exactly how to relax. You won’t have to work at it very hard, either. Listen, if you will , to these three statements. First, Alcoholic Anonymous does not demand that you believe in anything. All of its Twelve Steps are but suggestions. Second, to get sober and to stay sober, you don’t have to swallow Step Two right now, Looking back, I find that I took it piecemeal myself.  Third, all you really need is an open mind. Just resign from the debating society and quit bothering yourself with such a deep questions as whether it was the hen or the egg that came first, Again I say, all you need is the open mind.”
                             The sponsor continues “Take for example, my own case. I had a scientific schooling. Naturally I respected, venerated, even worshiped science. As a matter of fat, I still do-all except the worship part. Time after time my instructors held up to me the basic principle of all scientific progress; search and research, again and again, always with an open mind.
                When I first looked at A.A. my first reaction was just like yours. This A.A. business, I thought, is totally unscientific. This I can’t swallow. I simply won’t consider such nonsense.
                           “ Then I woke up. I had to admit that A.A. showed results, prodigious results, I saw that my attitude regarding these had been anything but scientific. It wasn’t A.A that had the closed mind, it was me. The minute I stopped arguing, I could begin to see and feel. Right there, Step Two gently and very gradually began to infiltrate my life. I can’t say upon what occasion or upon what day I came to believe in a Power greater than myself, but I certainly have to belief now. To acquire it, I had only to stop fighting and practice the rest of A.A’s program as enthusiastically as I could.

                            This is only one man’s opinion based on his own experience, of course. I must quickly assure you that A.A.’s tread innumerable paths in their quest for faith. If you don’t care for the one I suggested, you’ll be sure to discover one that suits if only you look and listen. Many a man like you has begun to solve the problem by the method of substitution. You can, if you wish make A.A itself your “higher power.” Here’s a very large group of people who have solved their alcohol problem. In this respect they are certainly a power greater than you, who have not even come close to a solution.  Surely you can have faith in them. Even this minimum faith will be enough. You will find many members who have crossed the threshold just this way. All of them will tell you that, once across, their faith broadened and deepened. Relieve of the alcohol obsession, their lives unaccountably transformed, they came to believe in a higher Power, and most of them began to talk of God”

          Step 3

    “ made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him”

                PRACTICING Step Three is like the opening of a door which to all appearances is still closed and locked. All we need is a key, and it is called willingness. Once unlocked by willingness, the door opens almost of itself, and looking through it, we shall see a pathway beside which is an inscription. It reads: “ This is the way  to a faith that works.” In the first two Steps we were engaged in reflection. We saw that we were powerless over alcohol, but we also perceived that faith of some kind, if only in A.A. itself., is possible to anyone. These conclusion did not require action; they require acceptance.
                Like all the remaining Steps, Step Three calls for affirmative action, for it is only by action that we can cut away the self-will which has always blocked the entry of God- or, if you like, a Higher Power – into our lives. Faith to be sure, is necessary, but faith alone can avail nothing. We can have faith, yet keep Good out of our lives. Therefore our problem now becomes just how and by what specific means shall we be able to let Him in.  Step Three  represents  our first attempt  to do this fact, in the effectiveness of the whole A.A. program will rest upon how well and earnestly we have tried to become to “a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.”
                To every worldly and practical minded beginner. This Step looks hard, even impossible. No matter how much one wishes to try, exactly how can he turn his own will and his own life over to the care of God he thinks there is? Fortunately, we who have tried it, and with equal misgiving, can testify that anyone, anyone, at all can begin to do it. We can further add that a beginning, even the smallest, is all that is needed. Once  we have placed the key of willingness in the lock and have the door ever so slightly open, we find that we can always open it some more. Though self  will slam it shut again, as it frequently  does, it will always respond to the moment we again pick up the key of willingness.
                Maybe this all sounds mysterious and remote, some thing like Einstein theory of relativity or a proposition in nuclear physics. It isn’t all.  Lets look  at how practical it actually is. Every  man and woman who has joined A.A. and intends to stick has, without realizing it, made a beginning on Step Three. Isn’t t true that I n all matters touching upon alcohol, each of them decided to turn  his or her  life over to the care, protection, and guidance of Alcohol Anonymous? Already a willingness has been achieved to cast out one’s own will and one’s own ideas about the alcohol problem in favor of those suggested by A.A. Any willing newcomer feels sure A.A. is the only safe harbor for the foundering vessel has become. Now, if this not turning one’s will and life over to a newfound Providence, then what is it?
                But suppose that instinct still cries out, as certainly will, Yes respecting alcohol, I guess I have to be dependent upon A.A., but in all other matters I must still maintain my independence. Nothing is going to turn me into a nonentity. If I keep on turning my life and my will over to the care  of Something or Somebody else, what will become of me? I’ll look like the hole in the doughnut.” This, of course, is the process by which instinct and logic always seek bolster egotism, and so frustrates spiritual development. The trouble is that this kind of thinking takes no real account of the facts. And the facts seem to be these: The more we become willing to depend upon a higher Power, the more independent we actually are. Therefore dependence, as A.A. practices it, is really a means of gaining trues independence of the spirit.

                Let’s examine for a moment this idea of dependence at the level of everyday living. In this area it is startling to discover how dependent we really are, and how unconscious of that dependence….

    We Continue to recognize excellence@ Bhagavad Gita

    Whenever dharma declines and the purpose of life is forgotten, I manifest myself on earth. I am born in every age to protect the good, to destroy evil, and to reestablish dharma.
    As they approach me, so I receive them. All paths, Arjuna, lead to me.
    I am the beginning, middle, and end of creation. Among animals I am the lion; among birds, the eagle Garuda. I am Prahlada, born among the demons, and of all that measures, I am time. I am death, which overcomes all, and the source of all beings still to be born.
    Just remember that I am, and that I support the entire cosmos with only a fragment of my being. Behold, Arjuna, a million divine forms, with an infinite variety of color and shape. Behold the gods of the natural world, and many more wonders never revealed before. Behold the entire cosmos turning within my body, and the other things you desire to see.
     I am time, the destroyer of all; I have come to consume the world.
     That one is dear to me who runs not after the pleasant or away from the painful, grieves not, lusts not, but lets things come and go as they happen.
    Just as a reservoir is of little use when the whole countryside is flooded, scriptures are of little use to the illumined man or woman, who sees the Lord everywhere. They alone see truly who see the Lord the same in every creature, who see the deathless in the hearts of all that die. Seeing the same Lord everywhere, they do not harm themselves or others. Thus they attain the supreme goal.
    With a drop of my energy I enter the earth and support all creatures. Through the moon, the vessel of life-giving fluid, I nourish all plants. I enter breathing creatures and dwell within as the life-giving breath. I am the fire in the stomach which digests all food.
     There are three gates to this self-destructive hell: lust, anger, and greed. Renounce these three. Pleasure from the senses seems like nectar at first, but it is bitter as poison in the end. That which seems like poison at first, but tastes like nectar in the end – this is the joy of sattva, born of a mind at peace with itself.
    The Lord dwells in the hearts of all creatures and whirls them round upon the wheel of maya. Run to him for refuge with all your strength, and peace profound will be yours through his grace.
    Whatever you do, make it an offering to me – the food you eat, the sacrifices you make, the help you give, even your suffering.
     I am heat; I give and withhold the rain. I am immortality and I am death; I am what is and what is not.
     Those who worship other gods with faith and devotion also worship me, Arjuna, even if they do not observe the usual forms. I am the object of all worship, its enjoyer and Lord.
    Those who remember me at the time of death will come to me.
    Do not doubt this. Whatever occupies the mind at the time of death determines the destination of the dying; always they will tend toward that state of being.
    When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a lamp in a windless place. They are forever free who renounce all selfish desires and break away from the egocage of “I,” “me,” and “mine” to be united with the Lord. This is the supreme state. Attain to this, and pass from death to immortality.
     They live in wisdom who see themselves in all and all in them, who have renounced every selfish desire and sense-craving tormenting the heart.
    The meaning of Karma is in the intention. The intention behind action is what matters.
    Those who are motivated only by desire for the fruits of action are miserable, for they are constantly anxious about the results of what they do.
     You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of work. You should never engage in action for the sake of reward, nor should you long for inaction.
     Perform work in this world, Arjuna, as a man established within himself – without selfish attachments, and alike in success and defeat. For yoga is perfect evenness of mind.
    At the beginning of time I declared two paths for the pure heart: jnana yoga, the contemplative path of spiritual wisdom, and karma yoga, the active path of selfless service. There are the fundamental different types of yoga.
    Do your work with the welfare of others always in mind. It was by such work that Janaka attained perfection; others too have followed this path. There is nothing in the three worlds for me to gain, Arjuna, nor is there anything I do not have; I continue to act, but I am not driven by any need of my own.
    The ignorant work for their own profit, Arjuna; the wise work for the welfare of the world, without thought for themselves. It is better to strive in one’s own dharma than to succeed in the dharma of another.
    Nothing is ever lost in following one’s own dharma, but competition in another’s dharma breeds fear and insecurity.
    The senses are higher than the body, the mind higher than the senses; above the mind is the intellect, and above the intellect is the Atman. Thus, knowing that which is supreme, let the Atman rule the ego. Use your mighty arms to slay the fierce enemy that is selfish desire.
    You and I have passed through many births, Arjuna. You have forgotten, but I remember them all. My true being is unborn and changeless. I am the Lord who dwells in every creature. Through the power of my own maya, I manifest myself in a finite form.
    Those who know me as their own divine Self break through the belief that they are the body and are not reborn as separate creatures. Such a one, Arjuna, is united with me.

    Om Hear now the hym, of Sri Guru Gita
    This sung is sang to Bhagavan Shiva

    It's melody is plain and terse;
    Sri Guru Paramatma is it's God

    Its words of power are "Ham" and Sah";
    Sri Guru's Prasada may be won; chant this day this song of love

    "Ham and "Sah" are symbols of the Guru's eyes.
    He is the source of the universe, by his will He
    appears in living form on earth lifting up the hearts of all

    Free of bonds, He is everywhere eternally deathless spirit, God divine

    Everywhere He is manifesting as the world: On His feet one's mind should rest.
    I sing this song to win the gift of love, Along with Liberation.

    1. Parvathi came to serve her Lord Shiva, seated on a beautiful Mount Kailas; With deep devotion she bowed Her head, In reverent voice she said;

    2. I surrender to Thee, O adorable Lord, Supreme teacher of the Universe Eternally pure, O highest God, Please teach me of the Satguru.

    3. Shiva spoke to Goddess Parvathi. "Thou art That,' it has been proclaimed; No one's ever asked this boon but Thee, But I'll give it to everyone.

    4. I am revealing, O beautiful one The mystery of the universe; God is not different from the Satguru, In Truth they're always One.

    5. Penance, vows and sacrifice, Pilgrimages and charity leave the seeker in ignorance, Who knows not the Guru's worth.

    6. The Guru is verily consciousness, there is no doubt He is absolute; Thus a wise man who seeks the truth, Will find it in his Satguru.

    7.  Because of doubt and ignorance Truth is hidden from the scattered mind; Guru removes it with His light; The Divine Mother is revealed.

    8. When a devotee serves at his masters feet,
        All his sins will be washed away; His peaceful mind will  reflect the Self;  In Love I disclose to Thee.

    9.Drink the water from Guru's feet, Take the prasad which He leaves for Thee; Repeat His mantram reverently, Meditate On His form Divine.

    10. All holy rivers and sacred spots.  Holy trees and holy lands, Reside in the water from the Guru's Feet;
    Salutations I offer Him.

    11. On His form meditate all day; Sing in thy heart his Holy name;
    Follow His teachings carefully;
    Let the mind ever rest on Him.

    12. Supreme knowledge from Guru's lips,
     Can be realized through His grace alone;
    Inside the heart keep His precious love,
    As a wife keeps His husband there.

    13.Forget the role that you play in life;
    Let go of status, success and fame;
    In each situation in which you are placed,
    Remember the Guru's name.

    14. Not gods or demons of any realm,
      know the wisdom of the Satguru;
    But serve Him with purest love
    His knowledge will bloom in Thee.

    15. The syllable "Gu" represents darkness;
    The syllable "Ru" stands for radiant light;
    There is no doubt Guru is the Lord;
    He dispels darkness with His Light.

    16. "Gu" is illusory changing world;
    That which appears to be real to men "Ru" is the Supreme Consciousness,
    Ever free from maya's veil.

    Veiled by clouds of ignorance,
    Guru makes Him see again.

    He is the sun by whose  light we live;
    His love makes all love possible;

    Although we can't know Him with the mind;
    Waking, dreaming and deepest sleep.

    To one with the eye of discrimination;
    A blind man's eyes cannot see the sun
    So is His glory hid.

    30. To meditate on the Guru's form, is to meditate on the ever pure;
    To chant with devotion the Guru's name
    is to chant Lord Chiva's name.

    31. A speck  of dust from Master's feet,
    Forms a bridge o'er the sea of change;
    All our delusions can be undone;
    Worship Him in everyone.

    32. His dance creates and nourishes the world;
    He penetrates the essence of scripture too;
    Ignoring wealth, His eyes are fixed,
    ever on the final goal.

    33. His glance is the pillar that supports the world;
    It showers compassion and grace on all;
    Permeated by the bliss of consciousness,
    May His glance enlighten me.

    As pure as the gold refined by fire,
    Tested fully in reason's flame
    Forever protects us from death.

    Moments in Her Story   Sri Anandamayi Ma

    1) I bow down to the Blissful Mother of the Universe (Shree Shree Anandamayee) again and yet again do I bow down to her, whose irradiant smile dispels all mental darkness: whose sweet words attract all: and who by her affection makes everyone her own.
    2) I bow down to the Blissful mother of the Universe (Shree Shree Anandamayee); again and yet again do I bow down to her. whose mysterious life (literally the truth about whom) is beyond the comprehension of human beings: and who, though living always without any break in the bliss of Brahman, moves about free, for the good of the downcast, as a veritable mother,
     full of infinite patience and infinite readiness to pardon transgressions.
    3) I bow down to the Blissful Mother of the Universe (Shree Shree Anandamayee) again and yet again do I bow to her, whose mercy is my only hope: who, in her infinite graciousness, manifests herself even in minds prone to evil thoughts and fills them with ecstasy; and utter surrender to whom, together with all near and dear ones, is the only duty of sensible men.

    In this holy time we pray that god will heal the sick
    comfort the heart broken

    and bless our heroes

    as American families look forward to easter

    we are reminded that our story ends not in despair

    but in triumph and renewal

    On December 12, a new website titled
    “Treasures of the Heart” featuring animated
    adaptions of children’s stories by SGI President
    Daisaku Ikeda was launched. The website
    displays a rotating selection of two or three
    films that changes every two weeks. The site
    and the films are available in English,
    Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Spanish.

    The films are set in different countries with hopeful messages about courage, friendship and protecting the environment. They are accompanied by questions seeking to inspire children to discuss the topics and themes presented. There is also an interactive “Fun Stuff” section that features “spot the difference” puzzles and quizzes.

    First shown in Japan in 1996, Mr. Ikeda’s animated children’s stories have been broadcast in 10 different languages in 25 further countries and territories since 2004. They have also been used as educational resources in both India and the Philippines.

    Mr. Ikeda says of his children’s stories: “It is my earnest wish that my works not only serve to create in children the awareness that their lives are infinitely precious, but that the stories also act as a springboard to enable them to cultivate ‘wings of courage and hope.’”

    The “Treasures of the Heart” website is at treasures of the heart. Information on the schedule of films can be found under “Online Broadcast Schedule.”

    You Are the Light
    Satsang by Swami Amar Jyoti
    On June 12th ~ 13th we observe Swami Amar Jyoti's Mahasamadhi /
    conscious release from the physical plane

    PERFECTION IS ALREADY THERE. You are already Light. As soon as you relax and getnon-busy, you will see the Light starting to shine.
              Relax the mind; that is the key to opening. Do work with the physical body but keep your mind and heart on the Lord. Don't get busy with other things. By busy I don't mean physically but mentally. Once you stop the mind's projections, structures, plans, wishes and desires, it will relax and then there will be a glimmer of Light on the horizon. And that dawn will give you hope to seek further.
    A person who troubles you and you don't want him or her near you ~ the time comes when you become compassionate and loving to that person. You see that this is not such a bad person. It's the way you look at things. Why are Enlightened Beings so compassionate and ordinary people so intolerant? When you have love and compassion, things appear differently.
    Each being we come across has lessons to impart. Humility, compassion, love and openness are very necessary. Through them your outlook becomes more comprehensive and integrated and gradually brings you to open to the Light.
    To behold the Light requires a clean heart, a pure heart. Until your heart becomes clean, go on practicing. Nothing will save us except God's Light or whatever term you use: Buddha, Christ, Master. That is where you are saved.
    There are two extremes and there is a middle path. The two extremes are muddy attachment and hatefulness. The middle path is love and compassion. Look at everything with equanimity; you will see that everything is perfect. The neutral way is the way of love and compassion. Hate no one; do not get attached to anyone.
     How many of us even try to perceive that there is a universe out there, not just my little home? How many of us gaze beyond our four walls? And if we don't, have we not made them a prison? We get used to certain patterns and begin to feel that those give us happiness.
    The answer is to raise your consciousness. Be brave to expand beyond narrow-mindedness and willfulness. Openness is much needed in the world, not being glued to four walls or to loving only four people.
    Combine these things: love and compassion for all, humility, remembrance of the Lord, and doing your duties and see the results. But do not forget one thing amidst all the sermons. There is only one golden reality: You are the Light. Meditate upon that. It will relieve you of all ills. Wherever you are, Light is there. Realize it.
    This Satsang was given by Swami Amar Jyoti in  February, 1981 during the MEDITATE ON LIGHT RETREAT at Desert Ashram in Tucson, Arizona. It was published in Light of Consciousness Magazine Vol. 17#3, Winter 2005.

    Over 700 Satsangs in MP3 and CD formats are available on all aspects of the Spiritual Path at

                        Declaration of the United Nations Of Spirit

    Constitution of the United Nations of Spirit Earth’s Heart Temple Kiva. Varsana – Granada Colombia – Raíces de la Tierra 2015 Renewal of the Ancestral Word Principles of Life: On December 12, 2015, in the eco-village Varsana Jardínes Ecológicos, located on Via Granada, Cundinamarca, we presented the spoken law of the Great Spirit to mankind, in which we announce the rules and regulations of the origin and the way of life. Thus, through this document, we renew the ancient word to fulfill this agreement. This word was placed on white paper after the Hoska ceremony ended: “word prayer breath of life from the tobacco”. The ceremony took place during the meeting of Indigenous Spiritual Authorities, Kiva Ceremony and Roots of the Earth, who came to South America from the north to fulfill the prophecy of the union of the peoples. This is what dawned: The ancestral peoples here gathered: Nadda, Panches, Misak, Kogui, Wiwa, Uwa, Yana-cona, Cofan, Embera Chami, Huitoto, Quimbaya, Mhuisqa Chibcha, Wirrarikas, Vaisnava, Maya Chontal, Maya Quinche, Apache, Quechua, and native mestizos, want to announce to all mankind that we all have a common origin and that common origin is the mind: the mind of the Great Spirit, from which everything originates. Thus, it is our duty to place our mind in communion with the source, remembering that we came here to live from and for her. Today we are reborn in the following nine breaths of life: 1. We recognize our Mother-Father Creators as our Law of Origin, who are manifested and expressed in the natural order and thus we declare ourselves: the United Nations of the Spirit. 2. We propose a way to educate real human beings based on our WAYS OF LIFE. 3. We invite human beings, who have forgotten their ancestral memory, to come and drink from this fountain of ancient wisdom. 4. We believe that all nature (elemental spirits, minerals, animals, plants, forests, rivers, mountains, humans, planets, stars, and the invisible) are not resources. They are our family, and therefore it is essential to live together in harmony. 5. We declare that interculturality and an exchange of knowledge encourages recognition of our common humanity, respect of our differences, and development of common agreements based on the Law of Origin of each of the ancestral peoples. 6. We declare that our spirituality is not a form of exotic religion, but a way of life in agreement with all beings, nature and the Universe. 7. We recognize the divine universal mother in woman, but in her, we do not recognize the model of transient beauty, which originates the idea that we can own and control the world. 8. We are fulfilling the dream of our ancestors. Our ancient peoples have the silence to know how to listen and the word to know how to speak and propose. This is an educational proposal, which is urgent for humanity, which puts the BEING in the center and the coexistence in harmony with all the visible and invisible beings. So, with the foundations of ancient tradition, stands a new old united humanity in the nine corners of the world. 9. We announce our government system to be the COSMOGEOCRACY. The order and the government of the cosmos is linked to the order and government of the Earth, where everything is interconnected; to accomplish this, we must extend, share and prepare the land, so the seed of the human heart germinates and thrives. This is the unreleased word from the native peoples of the north, east, west and south. A new-old word- order which was asleep; a word – order reborn for humanity in all the directions. This word -order- had to be fulfilled from the beginning of the universe, guided by the elders, the guardians of that knowledge. The word of the breath of life of the sacred tobacco medicine represents this birth, through which the pollen of ancient memory is awakened. This word of the breath that creates the seed pulp that is transformed in all the kingdoms, in all the elemental spirits, humans, planets, stars and the invisible. Through the word that comes from the heart, each nation surrendered the ideas and beliefs that did not allow them to see clearly. Everyone allowed themselves to give up individually and collectively what dwelt in them as parasites and weevil, everything that obstructed the reconnection with the original conscious. Through the preparation of the amilra (ancestral ceremony performed with tobacco leafs), it purifies everything that prevents us from seeing clearly. The contemporary human being had lost the ambil stick and the ambil (the spirit of the word), so he remained asleep in the flow of illusion in a world of appearances, forgetting the original law that has now been recovered. We are the announced prophecies of the peoples and nations around the world, in compliance with the birth of a new humanity, a new ancient culture, where every nation is responsible for its natural norms and its law of origin. We must all return to the mind of the great creative spirit and from there multiply this story of origin, and from there announce that there is a path for the human seed that we are, the seed of the Creator from the beginning. We now return to the path of the natural BEING, considering and respecting that each native nation prepared the path for cultivating the human seed. Today we are restored in the CosmoGeoCracy, so that the human seed germinates and thrives to become Naturagentes, guardians and custodians of life. The native people propose to follow the steps that the ancient peoples left us. Even before conception, during gestation and in the vital cycle of labor, the being is connected to the natural order; otherwise it is not possible to be human without understanding this order. It is our duty to live in communion and in community, from the mystery of creation. We are all more than what is manifested; this includes all of nature, since there is a higher mind (God), the essence to which we unite to become community. Therefore, we propose an agreement to return to the wisdom of origin that allows us to be one with everything and everyone. We, the ancient peoples, offer a cultural agreement: the agreement between ancient wisdom of naturalhumanization and the artificial technological world. We intend to generate a synthesis between what was brought in 1492 and what we have had here since the beginning, to generate a new old order, to allow the path of existence. We understand that the modern world has taken life and caught existence, that is why we propose a path that orders existence. In other words for all humans to have the possibility to walk the walk of existence of who we truly are, for we are not the body and yet we are the body. To walk allowing everyone to become explorers of this mystery, returning from the origin to remember who we really are and adjust our lives to allow everyone to exist. This is what we, the ancient peoples, mestizos, white and native-mestizos gather here today propose. This continent is basically mestizo and we return to our heritage and memory of the native mother and the land (native-mestizo) to generate a synthesis. We DO NOT deny the western world, we propose an agreement: an agreement to return to be Naturagentes. We declare ourselves to be the communities of the United Nations of the Spirit of the Naturagente.

    sei annamrta pao, radha-krsna-guna gao,
    preme dako caitanya-nitainanda

    Este cuerpo de ignorancia
    nos enreda en los sentidos
    y al océano sensorial nos lanza
    la lengua allí es un peligro
     por insaciable y obstinada
    cuesta mucho conquistarla
    pero el muy bondadoso Krsna mi padre
    nos ayuda a que se rinda
    dándonos su propio prasadam
    este rico alimento prueba
    y a Radha Krsna celebra
    y con mucho amor exclama
