Tammy Baldwin Becomes First Lesbian Senator In Historic Election

Tammy Baldwin, the U.S Congresswoman who ran for the U.S. Senate has won her race against a long-time Wisconsin Republican icon, Tommy Thompson. Baldwin becomes the first open lesbian and openly gay person elected to the U.S. Senate.
