The source of a foul odor wafting through the Inland area has yet to be found, but officials are sniffing it out. Firefighters have not identified any source of the smell or any hazard. Because there were no specific sources reported for the smell, there's been nothing for firefighters to check out, Humphrey said.
He said callers were being referred to the South Coast Air Quality Management District. A voicemail at the district office said it's closed on Mondays.
