Scene captured in the Papal Palace, in the Vatican, during the visit of the queen Madonna, queen of France, in 1989. She was wearing a ruby red cape designed specially to celebration the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. The jewels she wore around her neck had themselves been worn by the queen Marie-Antoinette in the 18th century. The queen Madonna came to affirm to the Pope that she would be renouncing the authority of the Catholic Church, and to announce that she would be creating a new religion.
